Not a bad fight but not a great one. Garcia hasn't really impressed me an awful lot at 147. He did alright against Porter but lost. He did OK against Thurman but lost. He struggled with Peterson too. It's still a decent fight but it's hard to like it because it isn't Crawford. I think Spence wins an 8-4 decision

No interest in this fight at all.... None.... I don't dislike garcia but I hate his dad so I want him to become irrelevant as soon as possible.

But if this fight is signed.... I want pacquiao Crawford next... While pac still might have a chance

And spence vs garcia.. ... Spence will win this easy... No doubt

Pac Crawford..... A few years ago no question in my mind.... But manny can't go on forever

Winners fight... Unified champ decided.. Won't happen but a man can dream

Evidently I was the only one that actually saw Danny beat the living **** out of Granados and stop him in 7. Yeah, I know, Granados is no Spence, but h is tough as nails and has a great chin, and Danny changed up his typical style a little, took the round by round approach of Porter, seeming to learn something from that loss. He'd change it up come forward one round, then lay back and counter punch off the back foot the net one, sometimes vacillating between the two in a round. That's the kind of strategy he needs to apply against Spence, constantly throw off his rhythm, keep him guessing, and punch inbetween his punches. Watch this, see if you see what I see? This isn't the half hearted Danny that came back and laid on the ropes against Rios, this was an aggressive hungry Danny, that wanted to beat Adrian down and make a statement. If he brings this attitude to the Spence match, this like the Porter match will not be easy for Spence.

Garcia is tailor made for him. Garcia is like a slugger that tries to box, that's not going to work against Spence he'll be getting lit up all night.

If its a slugfest, Garcia wins. Garcia has good power, very good chin and incredible timing on his punches. Evander Holyfield type calmness and timing in the pocket which allows him to catch people right in the middle of exchanges and hurt them bad.

But if Spence boxes behind the jab using his feet then Garcia loses. Garcia doesn't have the footspeed and workrate to chase him down

First post. Longtime lurker. Picking Garcia by late KO.

He’s a much more live underdog than Mikey, who this forum gave more of a chance to beat Spence than they give Danny, lol (talk about no respect)

Unless Spence has some extra dimension he hasn’t shown yet, always a possibility, his commitment to setting up shop and attacking the body of his opponent will put him right in Danny’s counterpunching crosshairs.
Yes. Thurman and Porter beat Garcia, but they used their superior speed and movement to avoid Danny’s punches and force him to have to constantly chase/reset. Spence doesn’t have their legs. And nobody who’s stood in the pocket with Swift has beaten him. Nobody. Don’t think Spence will either. So again, unless Spence shows a different style against Swift I haven’t seen yetI think Danny times him and drops him.

If you punch with Errol Spence Jr, he is very hittable, Danny can punch and in the exchanges is very dangerous with good timing. I'm not down on this fight at all, Danny is a dangerous matchup imo.

Spence flashes little school girl ''Ouch! That really hurt!'' expressions when he gets caught up top with a flush shot and he just looks noticeably uncomfortable and flustered.

Pity Pat Porter had him doing it at least a dozen times the other night

Look at how he reacts to this innocuous little love tap from a Ghanaian featherfist with a KO 35%

Obviously no fighter likes getting hit but it's not very often you see them react to doing so in such an unmanly fashion as he does. In fact, it's rare to see a fighter react like that even when they've been cracked with savage bombs from legit bangers and KO artists. However, Spence reacts that way from shots from cotton bud fisted fighters who can't punch their way through cobwebs. Even Roy never reacted like that after shipping shots for goodness sake!

Garcia might be a six-toed Lego hair freak with appalling taste in ring attire and pretty much everything but he can definitely crack a bit and much harder than Pity Pat Porter.
