This is such a great fight. The styles match up very well and of course, it's Errol's first fight since the accident.
Ive taken a break from this site for a while but I’m glad to be back. Again, I find myself agreeing with you on this one. Two great fighters, in their respective primes. Should be a good fight. Lots of Garcia haters and I get it, his dad is a tool and he’s benefitted from some questionable judging over the years but he’s a tough guy with a great hook. Spence is so smart and disciplined when he needs to be. I have to pick Spence in this fight because he has more ways of winning. If he gets in trouble, he should be able to outbox Garcia. Danny can win in if they slug it out but so can Spence. It will be good to see how Spence has recovered from his crash. Either way, I like both guys and would be happy with either one winning. Good matchup on paper.
I pick Spence to when. I glad he's back with Blue Ray, his original strength and conditioning coach. Spence didn't have Blue Ray during his last two fights, with Mikey Garcia and Porter, and it showed. Can't wait for this fight to happen.
I have a feeling that Garcia will win this, he strikes me as the type of guy that would have stayed focused and train hard throughout the pandemic.
Imo no amount of training Garcia does is going to offset the speed advantage Spence has. This is going to be an entertaining fight but Garcia is going to have to throw alot more than he typically does to have a chance vs Spence
I totally agree, Danny's run at 147 has not been great and he needs to step up his game to have a chance of winning. I believe he will step up his game and either pull off a win or make it a good fight.
He's got everything one would need power/chin/defense to reach the top he is just plagued by very slow hands and feet
