Errol Spence Jr. vs. Jermell DeAvante Charlo.

I doubt this will happen but I bet both of these bums will be watching their daddies fighting each other this weekend.

A battle of a couple flat foot punchers trained by an overrated coach who never make any adjustments from round to round. They simply keep relying on what worked in previous fights until eventually their opponent buckles from injury and/or a clean punch puts them away.

 

Seriously, Spence is going to get even more hurt if this does take place. Mell isn’t the most skilled, but the guy has way too much power for Spence. There’s about five moments in boxing where I was genuinely concerned for a fighter’s health, and two of those came from Mell’s ko’s over Lubin and Castano. The man has actual shotgun shells for fist, Spence might die.

 

Actually 2 car accidents and he was under the influence for both of them. Both he literally walk away from. He posts on social media a video of him at the scene of the second one bragging about not having a scratch on himself because his truck was reinforced and bullet proof. The 3rd injury happened in the ring while sparring. He competed well following those 3 incidents. People talked about him as if he was a marvel character joining the Avengers.

But then he faced Crawford and gets hands and feet put on him. Crawford didn't just damage him physically that night. He damaged his confidence. Damaged him mentally. Damaged his marketability.

This fight vs Charlo is an attempt at showcasing that he has those three aspects of his career back. The rumors were that Spence used to bully the Charlo twins in sparring, so, why wouldn't he use something he's familiar with to get himself back on track and see if he has anything left in the tank.
