Even though everybody is ducking him it is a bit suspicious that he is only fighting guys with 33% KO ratios like Algieri and Bundu. It cannot be due to the fact that Spence is packing some glass in that mandible? :think But you are right it would be great to see him against Vargas. Can't wait. Considering that Vargas is an other feather fist with a 36% KO ratio he would definitely fit the mold :rofl

Why would he face Vargas when Brook is the clear favorite? And ko ratio doesnt mean anything, Vargas has proved that he has new found power since stunning Bradley badly who has a great chin, and then stopping Ali.

Spence just needs one win over a Brook/Thurman/POrter and his resume is light years ahead of the little one.

I think spence stops him late. His a tough guy and thurman could not get him out but i think spence is the next big thing coupled with the fact bundu was old when he fought thurman and now even older. I think he will be stopped

Errol Spence tko no question. Bundu is old and leftovers of Thurman. Pretty much the usual Spence opponent. As for the claims that the top Welters are ducking him I don't think Spence can wait around for more than a year or two before he grows out of welterweight. He's been fighting at middleweight and light middleweight for a lot of his fights and he rehydrates like 15 lbs. He isn't going to stay long at welter.

Decent fight. I hope it will be a great event like his last one with a few more good fights on the card.

The fact that Spence is 1/100 on to win this fight with the bookies tells you all you need to know about how competitive this fight is. The only thing we can't be sure of is whether Spence has the power to ko Bundu who has been proven to have a decent chin.

For both is the same , you dont move up just to move up , you move up for a big fight , Spence aint getting any big fights in 154 , he is high risk low reward , he better stay @147 and force him self rather then start over @ 154 to end up in the same boat.

Spence is #5 WBC which means mandatory Vada testing which is now going to be started for top 15, ongoing recurring Vada testing. I wonder if he will vacate that position rather than deal with Vada. Seeing that he has those puffy nipples and there was a question as to whether he is using steroids that were causing that.

The perils of Boxrec evaluation. :-(

That's like having never seen Hasegawa or Selby in action or being ignorant of the contextual evidence of having dropped hurt or kayoed tough opponents but deducing they are featherfisted because of their KO ratios.

Not boxrec evaluation I watched Bundu against Frankie Gavin and he couldn't hurt him. Maybe there was one body shot that came close to hurt Frankie and that is all. What is your point? Bundu is a big puncher?

Bundu almost KO'd Gavin with a body shot, IIRC he was in pretty bad shape afterward. Bundu has deceptive power.:deal

Evidently people on here either don't know about the last two rounds against Lartey or if they do they choose to ignore it as an anomaly. Well they shouldn't. Lartey hurt him so badly at the end of the 7th Spence chose to not engage and survive the 8th and final round, if Lartey can hurt him, then so can Bundu, I think there's a legit reason Spence is being kept away from punchers.

Its in the closing seconds of the 7th.:!: And Spence makes zero attempt to win the 8th.

True. But I doubt he gets the stoppage.
