Yep. Benavidez has good handspeed, but really, his greatest strengths is the same as Hurd and a prime Chavez Jr, huge size advantage which allows him to absorb punishment like it's nothing, and power.

To light heavy? Oh heavens no, punchers galore up there. He isn't chinny, IMO, but he is sort of slow & methodical and the big hitters up there would grind him into a paste.

The Dog fighting like a female dog with that godawful slick American style. Spence might be an overrated leprechaun basher but at least he fights like a real man.

Dirrell ready to go. He shouldn't come back for next round.

This is a solid fight , all things considered.

Benavidez v. Plant needs to get made.

Benavidez 77-75. Dirrell goes southpaw and has some early success but Benavidez walks him down and takes the round aiming at Dirrell's eye.

Benavidez finally catching Dirrell. Dirrell's eye is ****ed. He can't see the punches coming and he's getting bullied.

    Round 1 Benavidez 10-9
    Round 2 Benavidez 10-9
    Round 3 Benavidez 10-9
Round 4 Benavidez 10-9, very close
    Round 5 Benavidez 10-9
    Round 6 Benavidez 10-9
    Round 7 Benavidez 10-9
    Round 8 Benavidez 10-9

Dirrell does have a damn good chin, much better than Andre. But damn, this is dreary.
