A prime Sugar Ray Leonard employs the same strategy as he did in the Benitez fight and wins a unanimous decision over Spence, avoiding Errol's signature body punching and scores with brisk combinations.
There is no one and I mean no one on Spence's resume that suggests Spence wins a round against Leonard. And I think Spence is a damn good fighter. Leonard proved his worth, Spence is untested.
Can anyone imagine a world were Kell Brook was getting the upper hand over a prime Leonard before being stopped? I sure as hell can't! I like Spence and he might go onto be a superstar, but nothing on his record, or his ability during fights suggest he could beat SRL. I actually hate nostalgic old timers always rating old fighters as greater, but in this instance Ray was just too good!
