Immediate reaction is ‘that’s nonsense’, but then when I think about it.. I can’t disagree. I didn’t even know who those guys were, they were both beasts. Those guys didn’t even flinch, then when you think about how easily Ugas was put into his shell, and how easily Spence was hurt by body shots from someone who can’t really punch, what would Butaev throwing bombs at their bodies look like?

 

Anyone who puts Gamboa on TV again is a war criminal.

Props to both guys for leaving it all in the ring. Spence was awesome. The wreck never happened. He is 10/10 himself and in his prime.

 

He let nobody down in that fight, you can easily make a case for him winning. Other forums I’ve seen think Stanionis won easily and that the Butaev favoured scorecard was corrupt, but Butaev was in an even fight and was unlucky to not get the decision, and unlucky to get a point taken away while the other guy was fouling. The guy is a beast. Sorry about your loss.
