Errol Spence, Jr. vs. Yordenis Ugás Hernández

Why not just face Crawford immediately? He left Top Rank and the WBA were happy to give Ugas some mandatories. So nothing was holding the fight up.

This is Spence/Haymon's decision to fight Ugas. They have chosen to avoid Crawford.

 

Spence v Crawford. It's likely over marinated now. I have zero faith it ever happens.

 

Spence via UD, but I think it'll be a tougher fight than expected due to his post car accident trauma, eye injury & inactivity. However, Ugas isn't a spectacular fighter, he has a low work rate; as well as average power & speed - so Spence should still be able to win. Hopefully, it's not too of a tough fight for Spence, so that there won't be any valid excuses from the fanboys if he loses to Crawford after.

 

Good fight, better than Spence fighting lesser fighters. This is a higher level tune up. I'm not high on Ugas. Spence by TKO.

 

Spence is showing his true colors and it’s painfully clear why the Crawford fight has never happens. Crawford has called him out for a long time. The fight can be made now but instead Spence decides to take this rout before moving to Jr. MW.

Spence is a little *** (British term for cigarette). That’s the only logical explanation. Maybe he can move to the next weight and continue his ducking ways. Total twat.

 

Do you think he's waiting for Bud to slow down a little?
Or do you think he just doesn't want that smoke and will just go up in weight?

If it had been Spence calling Crawford out after he had had a car accident and eye operation, then the same people accusing Spence of ducking now would say that he only called out Crawford because he wasn't fully fit.

If Spence wins this one and still is reluctant to face Crawford, then there's reason to complain. As of now, I think Ugas is a big challenge as it is for someone who has gone through what Spence has in the last two years.

 

Bud has not agreed to the purse split offered and is insisting on 50:50 which is another way of saying he does not want the fight.

 

Because Crawford won’t accept the purse split offered. He wants 50:50 which he will never get. A guy who can’t sell flies.

 

Crawford is rejecting the purse split offered as he mistakenly and stupidly believes he is entitled to 50:50. After the Ugas if he keeps rejecting the purse split we shall pass on him and move up in weight. The choice is his that is get real or get lost.

 

Won't happen. Spence wants no part of Crawford.
