Good move for PBC. One more belt for Spence and more time to wait for Crawford to show his age. And if Bud still looks prime in his next fight, Spence can say the fight can only happen with 90/10 split because he holds 3 belts or decide that he’s too big for 147.

Still a good fight nonetheless and will not be easy for ESJ.

Ugas doesn't throw enough punches or hard enough punches to beat Spence.

Assuming that the winner of Stanionis/Butaev gets the winner in 2022, this means Crawford-Spence in 2023 at the soonest :ohno

Forces a fight he didn’t need just to not fight Crawford. Complains about his time running out at the division but his fans say he’s saving the most dangerous fight for last when him making the weight healthily becomes even less of a certainty. Do they plan on ever fighting Crawford? Doesn’t look like it.

PBC isn't interested, yet Crawford just faced his 1st real challenge at the weight class :nonono

This fight was already into play before Spence's eye injury. Let this man clean out the division!

Agreed. Spence is coming off a serious surgery, so it's unrealistic to expect him to go straight to Crawford. Under the circumstances, this is a nice fight.

I don’t know and if you asked me two years ago, I would have thought the fight would have taken place by now. Crawford is showing no signs of decline. Someone said he didn’t look great against Porter but no one looks great against Porter and Crawford knocked him out. Spence looked worse against Porter. I was only giving Spence **** because he is the one refusing to fight Crawford. If he scurried to 154 this is a black mark on his legacy if he cares about that sort of thing.

The purse split BS is more ducking. It’s a 50-50 fight and whoever refuses the deal is the sucker. Biggest money fight for both guys.

I honestly think Ugas has no chance, he's simply not all that at this point

It was cool to let him collect the belts back in 2019, it’s been about 2 fights in 3 years since. I suppose it’s just boxing fans that have this fixation on the best vs the best. But sure’s, lets delay it longer while they are both already teetering on the edge.

Yeah I had high hopes for Spence and had given him the benifit of the doubt putting it down to management and promotion sttopping things from moving forward.
Spence is very good but fights are close while they last. not sure him or his team is confident against Bud. which is a shame as it would by a cracking fight with someone losing there 0. I think that's where the problem lies in protecting the unbeaten record and not taking that chance to be undisputed. I would love to see the fight it's one of the best fights to be made.

He very much wants Crawford because he is going to put Bud in a coffin and shut up the doubters.

I'm a bit worried that the question of purse split will kill the fight. Crawford will want at least 50-50 and Spence, if he beats Ugas, will figure he is the one with the most titles and demand more than 50.

If Spence demands more than 50% it’s a straight duck ****** move.

The same guys saying Spence puts Bud in a coffin will be the ones blaming his loss (Spence) on eye surgery or something else. I would favor Crawford heavily in this fight. It’s still a great one but Spence and his team seem to be getting scared, running from their biggest fight.

Don’t really know how I feel about this fight on one hand Ugas did beat Manny and arguably outboxed Porter in some opinions, on the other hand this definitely is not the fight the ppl want and with the recent antics from Bud most will look at Spence for the fight falling through.
The optimist in me says maybe Spence gets benefit of doubt due to eye surgery, but the realist in me says it’s likely a duck.

Either way Spence but corner stoppage, late rounds 10 or 11 Ugas doesn’t make it out the corner or the towel gets thrown in
