Errol Spence jr would of knocked Mayweather out

Spadafora got the better of him in sparring, it doesn't mean ****. If Pique nutmegs Leo Messi during training, Pique isn't suddenly the new star striker.

Spence never fought anyone like Floyd, that works both ways.

Spence is real good but it's too early for that sort of talk. He got a great win against Brook but he didn't just steamroll him, Brook was making a decent fight out of it.

 

Maidana was a good fighter. He still lost and then lost even wider in the rematch.

I don't Spence's size is enough to justify picking him to have beaten Floyd. And he is absolutely no way the most 'skillful' fighter Floyd would have faced. I think Spence is most likely pick of the bunch at 147, but I feel he needs to showcase himself more against the other top dogs before these claims can have any credence

 

And Brook wasn't a 100 % for that fight either...Terrible fight to take considering the circumstances !

Floyd has never really struggled with southpaws.

Triangle theories do not work. Pac has never been a KO artist at 147. he still put Chris down loads and won the fight incredibly easily, so this comparison is ultimately pointless to be honest

 

Judah and Corley gave him hell. But they were good fighters with exceptional speed.
But by that logic one oculd easily say that Floyd struggles with orthodox fighters.

 

I think gave him Hell is maybe a little hyperbolic, but you're right. I think what I meant to say was more that there's no reason to see that southpaws are a weakness to him

people are getting on the hype train way too early. give fighters a few years to establish their mettle and cement their place in the sport

 

People often forget(or maybe they dont even know) that a southpaw is not really that different from an orthodox. The tactics used against southpaws, with light adjustments, can be used vs orthodox fighters as well. And vice versa.

 

Spence looks like a 147 version of Riddick Bowe. His body assault is as good as Mike MaCallums.. Mayweather wouldn't have stood a chance.
