Errol Spence Jr's Weaknesses?

Hagler, Holy and Hagler had better chins and skills than over 90% of any British boxers to set foot in the ring! Ali beat Cooper twice who was one of Britain`s greatest heavyweights of all time, (but Cooper did nearly stop him). Ali also beat London and beat Bugner twice (a fighter that beat Cooper). Hagler destroyed Minter and Sibson, but Lewis beat Holyfield.

 

Khan`s defense and chin were way worse than Errol`s are now, Khan was vastly overrated and kept getting exposed, none of the fighters that have beat Khan would have beat Spence if he met them in their primes accept Canelo, but Spence would have landed more punches on Canelo than Khan did.

 

I want to see how he responds to his first loss. He just strikes me as one of those boxers who will be diminished by a defeat. I genuinely think he feels he's unbeatable, a strength while winning but the recipe for huge self-doubt when that sense of invulnerability is punctured. Some fighters can just dust themselves down and press on regardless after a setback. I'm not sure Spence is made that way.

Staying at 147 one too many fights. Huge for the weight. So far no weakness.

 

Questionable chin. Brooks arm punches seem to buzz him several times. Lartey who is a pillow fisted fighter rocked him badly at the end of a round. His team has pretty much kept him away from punchers. This concerns me.
Easy to hit. Very little head movement which leaves him open for the right hand which Brook was landing consistantly.
Flat footed. He has yet to fight a guy with pop, hand and foot speed. He has to set his feet before he punches. That is easily exploitable by guys with good movement. Just look what FlIVd did to Canelo because of the difference in foot speed.

I like Spence and think hes capable of beating anyone in the division but i dont see this unstoppable machine that many do. Guys like Crawford and Thurman could be really tough matchups for him.

 

Agree I wanted to see him in with Danny Garcia not saying Garcia would win by any means but I reckon he would've chin checked Spence with a few nice counters.

 

Head movement.

 

In comparison, Spence's nipples are somewhat average to other nippples. Where as Pac's head is huge compared to other guys his physicsl size.

 

I suspect if/when he moves up to have trouble when someone can actually eat his shots and counter. I don't think it will be an inside fighter that ever troubles him.

 

There are a many pictures of a very young and impoverished Pacquiao with the same disproportionately large head.

Have you seen Canelo's head recently? Or Floyd's? Ward and JMM? Their heads have grown to massive proportions.

 

Fully fit brook at 154 would whoop Spence

 

Could well be but as Joe Rogan pointed out about Lomo that it’s very rare for a boxer to have both things going such as footwork and the fast hands.
Floyd and Lomo play by different rules whilst the rest like Spence will be very good at one thing and in any case against Brook who probably was the more technical,skilled guy my memories of Spence was him walking Brook down and inflicting punishment.

Believe me,I know I’m right in this that Spence on the eye test alone is actually very good and has way more left to show us.
Perhaps even more troubling is that he appears to be a really great guy,not scared of anyone and called Thurman,Porter and Garcia so lame for scrambling over each other just to fight other to the point where those three were turning up WWE style to each other fights whilst at Spences last fight,not one of those three turned up to shout at Spence WWE style l9l

 

There are pics of a young Spence with puffy nips too. And until Spence moves up 8 divisions knocking out heavyweight STFU about him doing PED's. Especially if your only so called evidence is his nipples.......WIERDO!
