Im surprised how he handled Garcia even after the car wreck. He didnt go for no tune up. No soft touch. He went straight for a tough opponent. The way he kept his range , controlling it. Boxing nicely. Damaging Garcia as well. I knew he would do well vs Garcia who does not have porters athleticism or volume. For me Spence it was impressive and not anything new. Thurman already beat Porter and Garcia . Spence needs to show me something new for me to rate him #1. For me Pac , Crawford and Spence are all in the same spot.
Garcia never had the power or skill to really do anything to Spence. Danny's power was for 140 and below and does nothing for him at 147 plus he is not well known for his boxing aptitude and he has abandoned the "no look left hook" that helped him look good at 140. Spence needs to fight Crawford at 147 or 154 where he belongs anyway.
