“His promoter needs to do a better job promoting him, I gueas. I feel like he was a failure on the promotional side, so I think Bob needs to get back to the drawing board if he thinks me and Crawford’s gonna be a 50-50, down-the-middle deal. If I’m bringing in probably over 400,000 pay-per-view buys and he’s doing a hundred and something, why should we split it if we fight each other?”

More ducking tactics. Spence is terrified of Crawford. Crawford made Khan quit. Spence threw 1,100 punches at Mikey and couldn't even hurt him.

Khan would UD Mikey, I believe.

No Spence is the A side and he will get more of the pie.

Except no one has Spence as the P4P #1 and many people believe Crawford is. And neither guy has the starpower of a Pac or Floyd to play these games.

Can he be any more delusional...
Spence is only a draw because he fought Mikey Garcia....let him fight someone like Porter any no one will watch it

Not relevant when talking about the money issue between Crawford and Spence. Spence is absolutely the A side, regardless of who's P4P. He's bringing the money, not Crawford. The same thing applied to Mayweather and De La Hoya. Mayweather was the higher rated P4P, but De La Hoya was still the A side.

Not applicable. Oscar was a huge star and Floyd was much a bigger star then than Spence is now. Spence and Crawford are pretty equal in terms of star power.

400k PPV buys? No wonder. They promoted as if their life depended on it. You'd have thought they were fighting an election the way they were carrying on. That has nothing to do with Spence. Mikey draws in more mexican crowds than Spence does global crowds. And 400k is nothing to write home about. Floyd did that in his sleep and AJ does twice/three times that with a smaller potential audience. ESPN hardly promoted the thing. They promoted Spence vs Mikey so hard and managed to rake in a HUGE 400k. Claps all round. Not.

Crawford hasn't helped himself by fighting Khan in a PPV. His promotion thought that fight would sell?

Really starting to dislike Spence, he thinks of himself very highly yet has fought nothing but bums and smaller fighter since he won the title.

Sounds like he's getting his excuses in early to avoid Crawford, not surprised.

I actually think he beats Crawford, but it's clear which fighter of the two fancies it.

Spence is without a doubt the A side and he has earned it. I love watching both guys fight but lets be real, Spence has tested himself more and proven himself more against noticeably better competition. Like resume-wise Spence dookies all over Crawford. In their last fights Spence shutout or nearly shutout another P4P star in Mikey Garcia, who has displayed a cast iron chin his whole life. I was more impressed with Spence in how he fought Mikey than if he had just walked him down and tried to KO him. Ya he had numerous id not all physical advantages over Mikey, and he surely used them to his advantage just as any fighter worth their weight would, but he used them to completely outbox a PHENOMENAL boxer. He didnt grind Mikey down and stop him, he boxed beautifully and showed more layers to his game. The more I see of Spence the more impressed with him I get.

Crawford looked unstoppable in putting one on a shot to **** Khan, but so what? Ive never seen Khan look so pathetic in.my life. Like, he was literally just running forward, chin out wide open and throwing these ridiculous punches while his feet are rushing forward. It was beyond amateurish. And a lot of that is because Crawford had his number so bad, but so what? This was the worst version of Khan we have ever seen, hes without a doubt -- IMO -- the most shot former star still fighting today. Spence's victory over Garcia is far more impressive. Could Crawford do better against Mikey than Spence? Maybe, he has the skills and talent to be very wrong for Mikey and he is far more elsuive than Spence so its certainly plausible that Crawford could catch Mikey with a huge counter he doesnt see coming and spark his ass out, but we dont know until we see them fight.

If Spence and Crawford fought I dont know who to pick but right now my money would be on Spence. I just feel hes shown more layers to his game and proven he can beat elite competition in multiple different ways. Whoever wins I think it would be close, but in the end I think Spence's relentless pressure and body work would break Bud down late and possibly even stop Crawford.

One more thing -- people always claim Spence is a weight bully -- well, WTF is Crawford? Hes consistently outsized almost all or all of his recent opponents, maybe even every opponent hes ever faced. And Spence's body type and ability have remained consistent his entire career, I would be very surprised if he were juicing or using any hardcore PED's. Ive watched Spence since the amateurs, same build, body type, strength, athleticism, and ability from then until now. Crawford has made a massive transformation, and that transformation happened after he signed with Top Rank. That to me is way to much smoke for there to not be a fire somewhere. His build and body type have made a full circle transformation and all the while his speed, power, and other athletic attributes have increased as well. IMO, which I'm sure of, hes got one or more people in his back pocket and he is one of the current generation guys immune to PED testing and probably gets by loophole after loophole. When he was 26 he fought at 135. If he and Spence fight, Crawford is the one who is going to be the bigger guy. Thats right, let that sink in, Crawford, who's best win is Gamboa at LW, is noticeably bigger now than Spence who is on the big side of WW but 100% he is a natural WW and always has been. Crawford is right now borderline JMW and will probably end his career at MW or at least JMW. Thats not natural, weight jumping like that has always been a good indicator of juicing.

Why should Crawford get 50/50? He's fought all C and B- level opposition, and his PPV just went double plastic.
