I think Spence's is very underrated, he knows most of the ins and outs of the ring. Garcia's is probably rated about right. Spence is a monster, I expect him to beat everyone at that weight, and I don't think is his biggest threat, but Thurman
Yes it was underrated before the Garcia fight. He fooled me as well he has a great ring IQ. I thought he would fight Mikey in a completely different way.
My opinion of him did go up after the Garcia fight despite the clear advantages. I rate him as the best WW but he hasn't shown hes quite as elite as many of his fans make him out to be. I still have Crawford as a favorite to beat him.
I ain't brushing my shoulders off but I knew Spence could box and I knew Mikey was in over his head. He showed he could box in the Peterson fight.

Spence is high level IQ People always think that a fighter can only be "high IQ" if he a slick, off the back foot kind of fighter. Totally untrue. Spence is a master of his game.
spence is the best ww since prime odh. he is the only one since then with the combination of skills and physical advantages that they both had. he will reign as best ww for the next 4 years.
Yeah I gotta admit, I didn't expect him to box as well as he did against Mikey. I thought he'd physically impose himself and the power, size would be too much for the smaller guy and if it turned into a boxing match, perhaps Mikey would have a shot. Didn't turn out to be the case, Spence outboxed him and Mikey was forced to pretty much bum rush him. Not gonna say it's a great win, but it is a good showing considering how it was fought, I do have more of an appreciation for Spence now, who I thought was kinda overrated before.
