Winner will be Kell Brook's mando. Ponomarev fights out of Golovkin/Barrera/Gassiev's gym under Sanchez. He is undefeated in 30 pro fights. Technical fighter, recently beat undefeated Brad Solomon on the Pac Bradley undercard.

    Good fight. Thoughts?

Spence will win it, but it's a good fight.

Even if Ponomarev would beat Spence in most people's eyes, he'll never get the nod in the US. They tried to rob him against Solomon for crying out loud, while the consensus score was somewhere between 100-90 and 98-92.

But a good next step for Spence non the less.

Ponomarev has an outstanding jab and is a hell of a volume puncher when he wants to be, I think he could trouble Spence for a few rounds, but he gets hits clean far too often and I think he gets broken down and stopped late, or hangs on for dear life and somehow manages to survive until the end, but I don't see him winning.

    Cant see it happening.

TR and Haymon only tend to do business if its a very big fight or for a title.

I can see Spence going in a different direction
