Trust you to be talking about Mikey’s balls. I’m looking forward to hearing your excuses after Mikey looks average, I’ve seen you talking up his chances. Should be good.

That flabby Mikey is the best shape you’ve seen him in?
Mikey couldn’t take Salido’s pressure, he was dropped by Martinez, was getting slapped around by Broner at the end of the fight... you think this fat C grade fighter is going to trouble a guy that is bigger, at least B grade and far better than anyone Mikey has fought?
This is a meaningless fight and a foregone conclusion, it’s simply Mikey’s duck of Lomachenko. Don’t disappear tomorrow.

Agree with most but Garcia is not C grade. Come on now. Ducked Loma to fight a more dangerous and bigger fighter. Makes sense.

    Protein?
    Nah.

I am no expert on when it comes to an athletes diet(because they need a lot of energy) but they need most of their calories from fats or carbs. I do not recommend carbs.
Mikey likely eats a lot of greens and carbs that he can't properly digest. He needs foods that are high in vitamins A,D, K, K2, B(s), K12, E, C. The 13 vitamins are a must to stay healthy. It aids in recovery. And of course the minerals, heme-iron and so forth.
A lot of those are only found in animal products such as meat and dairy.
And often times the few vitamins and minerals available in plants are not bio available to humans.

And carbs are just carbs. Empty calories. Which can come in handy if you are burning a massive amount on a daily basis. But the problem is the poor quality of those carbs. One just ends up spiking their insulin levels and thus storing everything as fat on their body.

Protein also aids in recovery and maintaining normal muscle function, also a boxer does need carbs it’s there for energy but when they need to cut weight quick of course they will severely limit there carbs witch helps with not retaining water.

It’s purely depends on what type of carbs there consuming and also what there body type is and how much weight there looking to strip off and how quick. Lot of boxers will stay away from simple carbs like you pointed out and yeah your spot on about the vitamins.

With the fats one thing that lot of people don’t know is it’s actually best to have a high fat food like avocado after a heavy cardio session so that’s one way an athlete can stay away from carbs if there on a weight cut also lot of time when we thinking we’re craving carbs it’s actually fats, but a footballer after a game he won’t eat and avocado and say a protein shake he will have pizza or something unhealthy ( if you don’t believe me look up requested favourite meals of the Barcelona team) because they are not straight after a match looking to keep there weight down.

Anyway I’m rambling on I do agree with a lot of what you said though mate just wanted to add a few things. I know a few things about cutting weight marco’s etc.
