The fight is a few years too late but still a great matchup. These guys aren't as shopworn as Mayweather & Pacquaio were in 2015.

What basis is there for that logic though?
Spence has never been KO'd or stopped, Crawford hasn't KO'd everyone, including Pistol and Spence is better than anyone he has faced. Had Porter Sr not threw in the towel, Shawn finishes that fight. He was gonna lose but he wasn't out on his feet. He may get KO'd but it being a forgone conclusion as you say it will be is illogical.
Remember when Canelo would for sure get slept against Golovkin? Well 36 rounds later and he never touched the canvas.
Saying Amir Khan will get slept is plausible and there is history there to support it.

 

Porter would have been stopped hence his daddy stopping the fight, luckily for him though that tantrum he threw was as bad as it got.

Plus Spence has been hurt visibly in his last 3 fights.

It´s quite reasonable to expect Crawford to stop him. However, Crawford´s KO streak is bound to end sometime.

 

It is based on the logic that Crawford has stopped everyone he's faced at 147 and Spence was wobbled by Ugas of all people. Call me crazy but I think that Crawford is significantly more skilled, significantly faster, and hits significantly harder than the mighty Ugas.
