He won’t, imo Lamont is wily dude with good survival instincts. He got caught early by Matthyse if he doesn’t go in the first round Spence will have to break him down.

 

Hard to call in Peterson's case. Who knows for what substance(s) he got a TUE for this time around.

 

Peterson might run away and possibly produce a stinker. Or else he'll use his good infighting skills to brawl Spence and make it a barn burner

 

peterson will have to use all tools, if he wins its a masterful performance. im picking spence hes to big,strong,skillful, an lots of will. everything lamont can do errol does better.

 

This is gonna be a harder than expected fight for Spence, you cannot
go by Peterson's Matthysse fight, he got caught cold. I don't see an
issue with his chin, Look at every single one of Lamont's other fights, he slowly
gets started and walks you down with a consistent jab and body attack. Spence
has never fought this style, someone who digs to the body consistently and pushes you back.
If Spence doesn't get him out early, he's gonna have a real problem on his hands. I think Spence wins due to his
size and Lamont's lack of activity, but this is gonna be a gut check fight for him.

I can't see a de-roided Peterson surviving past the 6th round...

 

Peterson is tough but I see him being ground down by Spence's body attack.

 

It wouldn't shock me. I'd expect Spence to have him out within 8, though. If Peterson can hang in there longer than that, all credit to him.

 

Spence is guna break him down working between head and body, its guna take a bit of time Peterson is a decent fighter so Spence will have to work but work he will and he will constantly get the better of Peterson to a stoppage. I will say 9th round.

 

Spence wins this by stoppage after 8.

 

All I know is that Spence is a level or two above Peterson. Not very thrilled about this fight.
