I think it would be a good fight. As stated elsewhere in this thread when you're coming at Garcia is when he does his best work and I agree.
But....
Garcia scared? Nah say what you want about him but the guy is solid. Kinda easy to sit at home behind a keyboard and question someones heart I guess.
I think he lost close vs Peterson and Herrera myself. Still makes me wonder why people get mad at the fighter just doing his job and putting himself on the line in there. He doesn't control the judges.

 

Garcia is not afraid of Spence. Spence is overrated anyway. Spence should fight Porter and Thurman next.....................doubt if he will fight Garcia.

 

His resume if good but he got a few gift decisions and the fans hate that

 

Bottom line is that boxers with fast hands and the ability to punch and move will always give Danny a hard time. Not personal just the truth. He has good punching power but does not have the hand speed or foot speed to cut off a top quality boxer.

 

Why would Garcia be afraid of Spence? He wasn't afraid of Thurman.................

 

for sure i agree. but danny knows that. and thats why he is so good at timing his opponent. but you have to have the smarts in there as well to beat danny. keith thurman was perfect example. danny was starting to detect patterns to land his left hook, but keith was smart and really mixed everything up well .

He is a good fighter and tough, he reminds me of Carl Froch. He can be outboxed and made to look silly but you wouldn't count him out. I thought LP beat him too. I just think at the same time he is ripe for the picking for Mikey Garcia, Errol Spence, Terrence Crawford. He would have a good fight with Porter though, hope that fight gets made.

I never would accuse Danny of being "scared" or "afraid." I do think he understands his limitations

 

he understands his limitations. every good fighter does. that why what he was able to make it so far in boxing, if you know what your good at that can carry you along way even tho ur limited . its not like hes a one dimensional fighter. hes fundamentally very sound, has power, good footwork,timing , smart, and left hook are all highly qualified.
