Errol 'The Truth' Spence vs Jaron 'Boots' Ennis, who wins?

I agree he's established himself, but I don't think he excels in any area enough to beat Spence. Ortiz is a little more one-dimensional, but against Spence that's what you'll need. Not saying Ortiz will beat Spence, but I think his style gives him a better chance. Just saying that a specialist will beat Spence rather than an all-rounder like Ennis, and I feel like Ortiz fits more in the first category than the second one.

 

I won't say more "talented", I will say Boots is more multi-faceted than Spence. I also think he's close to a world title shot. Definitely against a former champion..............Garcia maybe, even Ugas.

 

Am I the only guy who rates Ortiz over boots lol

Ennis is abit too flash for me..looks the goods but abit in love with his power ATM...pretty sure in his last fight he caught 3 solid rights to the face in quick succession...his defence is a little leaky...but he's young..he's time to iron those faults out.

I think Ortiz is special though...nowhere near as flash but he will have the better career n beat Ennis if they ever fight.

ATM I'd take Spence to beat ennis

 

This is a good fight. Spence is still at the top of the division with Crawdad but he looked beatable against Porter. Porter may have won that fight. Ortiz is exciting and tough. I need to see more if his fights but I like what I’ve seen. Good fight.

 

If Spence has no ill effects from the eye, I would favor him now but if he does Ennis will beat him.

 

Ennis

 

Edge to Spence based on his championship experience. Ennis is looking good, against lower tier opponents though. Spence will be the best he’s faced by a long shot and nobody knows how Ennis will react when the fight enters the late rounds and he’s more tired, weary, and a bit punched up himself.

 

i agree, boots reminds me of broner in how they carry themselves in the ring. they would rather look good than be good. works great against overmatched guys, but a liability when the guy in front is just as tough. ortiz is all about his business.

Ennis struggles with guys that can apply pressure. Seen it enough times to come the conclusion. Ennis has better chances against Crawford

You will see current Ennis look like an ordinary slickster at world level. He's getting too much accolades for his latest fight. His best win is lipinets. Ennis has the highest ceiling for sure though. He is ATG material

 

Spence beats Crawford Jr. by UD.

 

Ennis looks great but at this stage I still favor Spence. Experience means a lot in this game so I will take Spence until further notice.

Ennis looks great against face first plodders. He hasn't really faced a different style and he has not faced anything near Spence.

Spence by late KO. Ennis is too hittable.

 

As good as this is they should make Spence -Crawford first.

Whatever mandatory this is Spence should drop the belt and make the big fight with Crawford. After that Ennis can fight the winner.
