wtf happened? was outta town for the weekend, just saw Spence and Raushee fight. first things first, Raushee is a disgrace. why would anyone perform like that on their third try? but anyway, SPENCE handled his business from round 1 to round 3. wtf were those judges smoking? that was one of the worst robberies ive witnessed in a while. USA should just forget about olympics and go straight to the pros. seems corrupt as hell
He wanted to try one more time for an Olympic medal instead of turning pro. (after failing to get one at age 17 in Athens or 21 in Beijing)
To think that THIS This content is protected Is the best the American Amateur boxing system can produce, smh.
cant see the pic. but Raushee is a HUGE disapointment. Spence, Ramirez, Diaz, and Gausha handle business for the USA.
Except that he isn't? He wasn't even a top 3 member of Team USA this time out. He got a lot of hype and attention because of it being his third attempt, but on the basis of their performances there were a few others who blew him out of the water. So STFU, troll.
Ok, so who are the top 3? Because all but one of them are out. You lot have been hyping the hell out of Rau'Shee for ****ing years, there was a thread last week about how he was going to be Gold Medalist and world champ within 4 years. stop trying to alter history man, accept it.
great argument mate, very well put I loved the analysis of both sides of the discussion, followed up with a great conclusion. Bravo good sir, truly you are an example to us all :happy
****** dominated the first round and then blew off the next two. really has no one to blame but himself. then again maybe if the head coach was actually in the corner things may have been different
Uh, a few Americans put up solid performances but were bounced in close fights...a couple with dodgy scoring. As opposed to your Brits, who've snuck a few through that didn't deserve it. Gausha (should have gotten the nod, but not as blatant a robbery as Spence's before the appeal), Diaz Jr. (clearly lost a close fight, fair and square, but impressed & earned a lot of respect even in the loss), and Spence Jr. are all miles ahead of Rau'Shee based on their form at these Olympics. Hell, the rest of the team performed better than him too with the possible exception of Breazale. RW's performance was an embarrassment to American boxing, and that's even without having necessarily expected him to medal. Plenty of Americans were hoping he'd step up to the plate and deliver in his final try, since it made for a great story, but who said he'd definitely take gold? At best, people might have said that he could with a relatively weak field in his division, depending on who he drew. So in fact the opposite of what you've claimed is true. Rau'Shee in 2012 isn't the best the USA can put out, he's either the worst or 2nd worst on the whole team. Try watching the actual fights before putting forth your "opinions", idiot and/or troll. :good
