I know Curtis was one of the most under estimated trainers ever I'd hoped that had rubbed on to Derrick. BUT
When I saw Errol walking down to the ring I could see there was something wrong. when the fight started it was obvious that was not a 100% Errol in there with a prime assassin like Bud. Why did Derrick let him keep taking the punishment like he did that's what bothers me

Dumb. There are some good fights at 154 & even 160. He took a lot of damage and is going right back at it. After this, any punch resistance might be gone.

Quite possibly the worst idea since Matthew Saad Muhammad decided to rematch Dwight Qawi.

Spence gunning for an immediate rematch really feels like he is cashing out to me. He has the weight angle can can play to help the rematch sell. What he can't do is risk losing against somebody else at 154. If he were to take a tuneup at 154 and lose then the money on the table for the rematch is gone.

I'm not glad to read that.

Honestly, I wouldnt like to see him with permanent damage.

The fight vs Crawford was one of those fights that take a huge toll on a fighter. But it could have been worse, it could have been one of those fights that end up the career of a fighter. The only reason why this fight was not a career ending fight was the referee.

Spence will receive the exact same beating (if not worse) in this second fight. And there are chances that the referee will not be accurate/fast/smart enough to save his career again.

    Stupid move.

On top of that, nobody cares about that fight. He's going to be beaten to a pulp and risk his health for nothing.

Please tell me why its ok for other boxers to get their heads bounced off the canvas but Spence can't make the decision to go back in and possibly get KOd.

Nobody cared about Helenius when he was almost guaranteed to be put to sleep against Wilder and Joshua. Now everyone's "concerned" about Spence's health lol.

It is prizefighting and this is the biggest fight he can get. He's obviously going back in.

    Its actually a great idea.

Erol is just cashing out.. this is all that it is .. problem is for him I heard from bomac that making 147 for Crawford was not easy too.. Crawford will actually also benefit from going upto 154lbs ...Erol already knows what time it is .. that skill gap is too much to just get covered by weight ..

These Al Hayman fanboys really have no regard for their fighters.

I just read that Crawford is insisting the rematch be at 147 again. That’s his right as the champion but I am not so sure Spence will agree to take the fight.

One thing I'll never understand about rematch clauses if anyone can clear this up - are they allowed a tune up fight prior to? or does it have to be immediate? I fear for Spence here, the right hook KD didn't look that hard, or maybe Spence is packing glass all along?

I’d be interested to see if he could do better in a rematch. Has any one ever suffered such a one sided defeat in a fight of this magnitude, and then come back to avenge it?
