    Good posts lads! :good

Great technical fight between to top boyz that have bucket loads of respect for each other, great to watch. As Yaca said Singdam looked hard to beat in that fight, his right leg is like lightening. :scaredas:

I agree these guys will be ATGs and who knows in the future as their careers wind down and they go up in weight we may see them fight abroad. I think we'll look back at this era and see some great quality technical ATGs. It's different now to the 90s with ATGs, I think these days with all the guys who now fight often in the West and Japan, in the future they may over shadow the Thais that fight purely in Thailand and don't want or get the chance to fight abroad due to size, promoter etc. which will be a real shame form a legacy nad MT historical standpoint.

That fight was the main on the last event I posted on the BKK fight although I never got round to putting the vids on it cos of the ne baby I'd like to get that thread going again.

Great clip!!! Well found Vic. :thumbsup Really insightful look into a current quality camp. Those sounds and that atmosphere bring back powerful emotions and memories to me. It's an awsome experience training in that kind of enviroment not to mention as addictive as hell. It had such a profound effect on me that I could never in all seriousness train in the west ever again.

By the way if any aspiring Nak Muay are reading this check out the both this clip and the part two clinch work clip, study them carefully and you'll learn more about MT technique with these two vids than in a year of training at you local fancy KB club!:deal

Good post Yaca and you betcha it's exciting! :hop

Got some bad news though Nong O is out due to illness so no Jomthong fight. Wonder if that's got anything to do with the nose damge form Singdam's elbow in the above fight? :think

Still a top card any way! :happy

Yaca can I be really really really cheeky and ask you to do me a favour? Could you copy and paste your post into the BKK fight card thread? I want to get it back up and running. It'd be great to get all these cards all together in one place so we can go back to them really easy see any emerging undercard stars and it'll help people who aren't as familiar with the scene but are interested follow it a bit and get familiarwith the big BKK names. :thumbsup

The ATG thread's been a bit quiet (as has the whole MMA forum) so I thought I'd bring it back to life with a younger brother of an ATG, Colalek Sor. Thanikul.

I posted recently about ATG Sombat Sor. Thanikul, well in the true Thai tradition of fighting brothers like Samart & Kongtaranee, Boonlai & Boonleng, Khosai & Khaokor, Somluck & Somrot, well here's Sombat's younger brother Colalek in action in the late 90s in Raja. He's no ATG but he was a solid stadium fighter as you can see........:yep

Thsi was the first upload on my newly setup Youtube Channel "boranbkk's Muay Tube". I've only uploaded about 12 fights but lot's more to come. I think 10 so far are all KO finishes in the two big stadiums. I'm trying to only post fights that are not already posted although some duplicates are bound to happen. Anyway, here's Colalek (Red Shorts) and you see his big bro Sombat in his corner wearing the blue seconds vest:

Great fight, great finish, nuff said! :deal

Featuring a 90s fighter that seems to make many peoples ATG lists, although I've got to be honest I don't know much about him, Charoensap "Diamond Heart" Or Neumnong.

He seems to have a reputation for turning up the heat when the **** hits the fan, bags of heart. If anyone else can find any clips or info I'd be interested as he sounds very excitng. Here he is:

Chain Binsinchai (Red) vs Charoensap "Diamond Heart" Or Neumnong (Blue) from Rajadamnern Stadium.

Not sure, but the Charoensap I posted above in the fight may not be the Charoensap "Diamond Heart", but I can't be too sure. In the below clips is the "real" Charoensap "Diamond Heart".

It's never good to go by the second gym names as these can chamge frequently, but in the photo on the original clip it looks like the same guy facial but in the clip he looks chunkier in build than the confirmed Charoensap "Diamond Heart"!?

Differing point in his career? Or just different fighter? :huh

Anyway, he's another quality Southerner:yep and here's the original badboy in a couple of ATG battles.

Red shorts in the 1st clip and Blue in the second which annoyingly cuts off!

I just hope Jomthong Chuwatana dedicates himself to boxing. He can make a run at the big leagues really soon IMHO.

I think you're right in a finacial sense for sure. He's done alot in all MT already, but there are so many other standouts around him it's hard to truely standout. The only way he should stick with MT is if he can get the same amount of international MT fights as Seanchai seems to get, he'd have to to eran anykind of decent money.

But if he really has the skills to go all the way in Sakon Boxing I agree he should. Boxing for sure would be a better bet for his future in money terms and in possible legacy ATG terms. But we know Thailand is one giant grey area and I imagine this all depends on whose handeling him and what they think the'll get out of it.

You know same corrupt old **** different day! :-(

Did you see Sam-A's recent boxing debut Flea? If not here it is:

I havent yet but I have it :good

Didn't seem an obvious choice to convert, but it's all about the baht at the end of the day.

I uploaded Kongtoranee Vs Gilberto Roman to YouTube, Payakaroon is brilliant in it, you know what he's like as an aggressor, compact, consistent and good at picking his spots. Against Khaosai he was forced to move backwards and counter, against Roman we really see his offensive ability.

As you say Flea, it's all about the baht. Sam A is seen as a very technical MT fighter and is under the "5 star roast chicken" banner , which we know also supports western boxers, so I reckon he may have been sparring some of the Sakon guys snd looked good hence an oppurtunity to have a go and get a payday. I don't think it's anything to serious or he plans a permanent switch, just an opputunistic payday.

Thanks for the Kong clip, what's in the local Payakaroon water supply?

I'm not too familiar with Kong's sakon career so it's all new and excting to me so thanks. Great Youtube channel & I love the background write ups you give for the fights!:good
