Maybe we'll get lucky and my folks will get murdered before the fight and we won't need to keep the noise doon. It is Gallowhill after all....

Mc - so technically not exactly the same, but that never stopped all the "of the clan..." jokes throughout school.

What school did you go to? Our school never teased, they skipped that and went straight to the battering **** out of stage.

It was mostly in primary school back when the TV show was on. By the time I got to high school it backfired on the one guy that tried it as the neds gave him a kicking as "that jokes shite and ancient". Only a few teachers thought it was still funny to say "of the clan..."

It's made worse by the fact I quite like the first Highlander film, though the sequels were maddeningly pish. Still, any film with Sean Connery as a Spaniard fae Edinburgh is on par as a film with Sean Connery as an English secret agent fae Edinburgh or a Russian sub commander fae Edinburgh....

What age are you Batman? What highschool did you go to? I went to "Mekky" which is closed down now, the reasoning given was that the pupils just do what they want plus it was 90% fegs. A guy who was 2 years above me (4th year at the time) composed a beautiful right hook to our mid 40s female head of year, most schools would expel and call the police, he got a 3 day suspension and told to right an apology letter, she had a disgraceful paper mache chin to boot.

    24. I went to the Grammar, so when Mekky closed some of them had the joy of going to the Grammar too. It was a shitehole, but it was in Seedhill so couldn't expect any better. Some of the teachers still seemed to think it was some sort of posh school, it was hilarious. They'd kiss the arses of kids who lived in Ralston, and treat everyone else like fegs.

One of my mates punched a teacher in the Grammar but there was no witnesses other than me - who didn't see anything as my back was turned, allegedly - and nothing really happened over it. He got suspended, but that was it really.
