Mand I have an idea. How do you like the idea of a World Cup tournament?

So basically every nation chooses their top 3 pickers. The pickers are then put into a tournament. The tournament is like the F.A cup with knockout games right the way through. Each fixture is 3 bouts, winner is one with 2-1/3-0 in terms of picks. Points awarded for advancing through cup and then the winner of the tournament overall wins x amount for the nation?

Just an idea, it can be cleaned up a little but it would be ace to run alongside this with the euro's and olympics coming up soon.

And I like this idea, only problem is not much British boxing when Olympics are on is there?

I'd like it as a separate entity to the League. So just a straight knockout format ending the year with a League winner and Cup winner. Possibly going head to head in next seasons curtain raiser a la The Charity Shield.

 

My vision was that we could have it starting with during the olympics? but if the boxing schedule is thin we could have it after this comp finishes. Like a champs league type draw. Separate concept but still Mand's brainchild. The winner of that get's a prize from me. I will put up a boxing ticket to a show for the winner out my own pocket :good
