 Took me a while to remember that one.

As for the hair, it is relatively simple, something which most hair-enthusiasts do not want people to believe. Firstly, get some good(I emphasise GOOD) shampoo and conditioner(separately, none of that 2-in-1 bull****). After that is done, my advice is that if you don't have a shower in the morning(and a lot of people don't have one EVERY morning) at least slightly wash your hair. Although it may sound like a chore, it really isn't when put in context. It doesn't really take any longer than brushing your teeth for example. Get some water in your hair, take a pea-sized amount of each and make sure you spread it around as many follicles as you can get. Shampoo first, condition second. Drying doesn't take particularly long either because - as previously stated - you've only made your hair mildly wet anyways. Then you can go on with the rest of your day. The downside to this method of course is that the effects wear off significantly quicker than if you were to shower, so for instance if you were to go out again that evening I would once again recommend utilising the above method at the very least.

That's just how to keep your hair relatively full and healthy though, it's up to the individual when it comes to what kind of way you choose to wear it. Due to having recently finished college I have a bit more time on my hands, and thus have a pretty swagged out style.

I'm just going to stick a massive NO HOMO on this post as a disclaimer.

The other day I put conditioner in my hair by mistake, never used it before and I won't be again.

Cheers for the advice pabman, however, we had our first day of warm sunshine in Scotland today and I had the day off so, as per annual traditions, I shaved my head (no guard so 1/2 mm) and hit the beach with a few beers. :happy

I am however planning some heavy follicular growth for the Winter so advice noted :good

Dont put the conditioner to nere your scalp. It should only be for the ends of your hair, rinse out quick dont leave it in as will leave your hair greasy. Plus only use conditioner every few washes.

I tell you the real secret to haircare. It is relatively simple, and something most hair enthusiasts and product manufacturers don't want people to believe.

Just leave it. No product. No shampoo, and no conditioner. Just rinse it with very hot water and run your hands through it, scrub the skin on your scalp.

No need to add chemicals to the mix.

Clean the rest of your body with soap, obviously.

Your head, though, requires only hot water to rinse away daily particle build-up and some of the naturally occurring grease you generate. Some. You don't want to get rid of all of it (even stylists and other proponents of shampoo/conditioner agree that you want to maintain some of your natural greases and not overwash hair - where we differ is in that they're wrong about you needing to wash it at all).

It is an absolute myth that "washing" your hair has any hygienic or aesthetic benefit over simply rinsing it.

Alternately, if you're skeptical about whether it's really OK to go without them but really don't want the fuss anymore - go for the completely shaven-clean bad ass look. 8)

Unless you have a specific medical condition like dandruff or the like that requires the use of a specific medicated shampoo, don't put globs of random chemicals on your head.

Note: no, this will not lead to you having dreadlocks.

It was long a commonly held belief that dreadlocks are grown by simply "not washing your hair (not even rinsing) for a very long time". Not the case.

Some people - namely, blacks - can grow them by neglecting to comb, cut or brush. Other races will typically have to have them styled into thick braids to have them come out looking the way they're meant to.

So, people with dreadlocks aren't "dirty".

Neither are people who don't use shampoo, who are an entirely separate (but perhaps overlapping) group. :good

In short, what IB is trying to say is that he has no swag, while TommyV and myself stay over 9000.
