Quintana wasnt a bad pick prior to the fight, I just thought Berto would be too strong over the rounds. He was in cracking shape though wasnt he? Moore wasnt a bad pick either (first round might be a bit ambitious like).

May seriously consider moving if we end up with Cameron as PM. I doubt the fella is competent enough to manage my bank account, let alone the country! Anyways, I'll leave the political chat there.

I've not seen the fight yet but having read the threads it seems he was in really good condition.... Quintana hasn't been active of late though and might well be done at the top level now.

 

Quintana didn't do bad at all in the fight. I only had him 2 points down (which included a point taken off) until he was stopped. Certainly didn't disgrace himself.

My picks for the weekend:

I thought Berto boxed well. Sky seemed to think he wasnt as impressive as they were expecting, I thought he done well as this was a tough test. As Kos said too, Quintana didnt disgrace himself at all.

I'm sure the Caballero fight was about 27 rounds long too, it went on forever! Could definitely have done without that at 4am!

 

I'll make sure I try and get to see it in the next couple of days.

Sky have been hyping him (Berto) up to the eyeballs, and do knee-jerk quite a bit calling someone an ATG or writing them down as merely decent..... plus Quintana is (in the grand scheme of things and where Sky are concerned) pretty much a nobody - hardly anyone would fancy fighting him.

I think my days of watching at 4am are done, I've done it half a dozen times and every time I'm a write off the next day..... unless I've been on the sauce and stagger through the door!

 

I agree mate, I wont be making a habit of it! Think I'll just stay up for the big ones (Mayweather v Mosely) from now on and just V+ the rest.
