i would just remove him completley. we need to make a decision about guys like Choi, Lebedev, Sosinski, the cubans. these guys base there career but are eligable for british title.
I propse the criteria should be: 'Born in Britain/ Eligible to fight for the British title (i.e. has British citizenship or has lived here long enough to be entitled to citizenship)'. That should do, IMO. No grey areas and it'll save arguements.
Agreed These fighters should be removed from the rankings Heavyweight - Albert Sosnowski Super Middle - Tony Salam Middleweight - Kreshnik Qato Light Middleweight - Yassine El Maachi Featherweight - Choi Tseveenpurev
and be replaced by Heavyweight - Tom Dallas Super Middle - Matt Thirwall Middleweight - Kerry Hope Light Middleweight - Steve O'Meara Featherweight - Dai Davies
There's a few better than Dallas with losses on there record. Dallas hasn't fought anyone on journeyman level yet. Agree on Thirwall I think there is a few more deserving than Hope at the minute, also a few more than O'Mera. Agree on Davies but i still prefer keeping fighters like Choi and Sosnowski in
Dallas - Gammar & Burton. Dallas is at the same level as Larry Olubamiwo with a few more padded fights. Dallas needs to make a move soon maybe even a slight step up with Butlin, Swaby or Ellis. Kerry Hope - Prince Arron or Jason McKay not too sure if i have seen hope before. O'mera needs to step up before being in the top 10 in brit level. Coyle give Rhodes hell a few fights ago and isn't in the top 10
I agree with all of these. Gammer, Arron and Coyle. I would say however that that O'Meara and Dallas are 1 decent win away from break into the rankings.
Yeah same here Rob, Dallas needs a step up in opponent to push him into the rankings with the likes of Chisora and whoever else. To be honest im not convinced Dallas is going to make noise he looks a little to rough after 7 fights but he could improve as he steps up. O'Mera needs a step up as well and its quiet a deep division for brit level
Skelton has retired. So looks like Dallas does go into the rankings after all. tbh i don't rate dallas either but name 10 better british heavys?
Whoa, what the ****! Something like this would have to be voted on. Personally, I think they should stay :deal Has Skelton retired? 10 better than Dallas - 8 in the list (excluding Sos and Skelton for this discussion), Gammer and Burton.
Lebedev has only had 2 fights in the UK - I know he is with Warren, but he is neither fighting in the country regularly or is based in the country. Due to this, I don't think he should be ranked - although if people feel he should be then I will include him :good Also I wouldn't be too bothered about ranking him, the division is dire!
How about we have a system simular to South Americans getting work permits on football, where they have to off had a certain caps. Obviously if you were born or your parents are from Britiain you can be ranked. Otherwise to gain "ESB Ranking Citizenship" you have to off had; a) 10 fights in this country b) 50% of your last 10 fights have been in Britain. Albert Sosnowski, Tony Salam, Kreshnik Qato, Yassine El Maachi, Choi Tseveenpurev, Howard Eastman, Joey Vegas, Ola Alafoabi, Shinny Bayaar all qualify under the quota. Dennis Lebadev does not.
