Official - Joe Murray is campaigning at Super Bantam. I would rank him above Walsh if he wins. Sam Hortan is now fighting at Middleweight to. In a british title eliminator tonight. Skelton has retired. I vote Gammer in at 10th. Also i would have Qato lower down at middleweight. Murray, McDermott and Bendall have all beat better opposition.
Drop Hortan from the super middle rankings. Get Renda in 9th at middleweight. Matthew Barr to replace Hortan at Super Middle. Martin Murray maybe up to 6th? Would have Joe Murray 9th-10th and Super Bantam. Stephen Russel in at 10 at featherweight.
Is this official? I haven't moved him to the division yet. Changes made: Renda in at 9th at middleweight - Eastman drops out Haughian drew in his fight to a journeyman, drops down to 7th Thompson in at 10th - Mutley drops out Horton out - Thirlwall in at 10th
Boxer of the month for September Nominees: Carl Dilks Matthew Macklin Cello Renda John O'Donnell Lenny Daws John Simpson Matthew Marsh Pick your top 3 please :good My picks: 1. Matthew Macklin 2. John Simpson 3. Matthew Marsh
I nominate Macklin for top spot, Simpson 2nd and Marsh 3rd as well:good. I think this month is quite easy to rank.
yeh his fight of friday was at the weight and he mentioned it in a boxing news article. also Skleton has retired.
Williams out of the top 10 :rofl Williams down to 7th (from 3rd) Harrison up to 5th (from 9th) Skelton retired Burton up to 10th (debut)
Potential can of worms here: should fighters' rankings alter after performances in Prizefighter? 3 rounds should be counted as exhibitions as Pater said before, IMO.
Just my 2p. How about if a fighter gets stopped it counts, if he loses on points it doesn't.? You can't argue with a KO but you can say they 'better' fighters might have won over the longer distance (I think Williams would have won over 8 rounds last night).
