I don't want to **** on everyone's parade but it's just my thoughts on the situation. Williams didn't lose a fight last night- he lost a slugging match. I doubt he would have fought the same way and lost to that dude over 12. Harrison has been moved up the rankings as well, but for what? Granted, he was impressive, but who did he beat last night who was ranked above him?
then again i'm sure both fighters would have approached the fight differently if it hadn't been a 3 rounder. i personally don't think prizefighter fights should affect the rankings at all.
i think Williams is out because he has retired?? Prizefighter should affect the rankings. I would still have Harrision below McDermott thought. we do need to re-do the P4P rankings. lets wait until the end of october though as theres allot of big fights coming up.
Fianally Updated! Fry - 2nd to 5th Hunter - 2nd to 4th Glover - 8th to out Amar - in at 8th Maachi - 10th to out Portman - in at 10th Danny Williams - in at 7th (he hasn't retired it seems) Thaxton - out (retired) Brawley - in at 10th Macklin boxer of the month and he has also moved up in the p4p rankings. Question: Has Booth done enough to be ranked over Afolabi (who is 15th) in the P4P rankings? Edit: Will do the world rankings sometime today/tomorrow :good
Alot of it is spot on but I dont think Sam Webb is worthy of a top 5 spot... Not above Pryce and Facey. I also dont think Fury should be above Audley. Stubbs should be above Dilks To have Matthew Ellis in a TOP 10 of any division anywhere on this planet is absurd, get him binned for an upcoming younster with 2-0 or something, The guys a disgrace to boxing.. Such a shame because he could have been totally the opposite... GET HIM OUT!!
Matty askin. Only 3-0 but he a young local lad whos training in a good camp. He would box fatty Ellis all over for 4 rounds. Im sure there would be many others out there worthy of that spot but I cant think of any of the top of my head..
