I think the 90's was an excellent era. Lewis Tyson Holyfield Bowe Morrison Tucker Bruno Tua Ibeabuchi Briggs Foreman Moorer Golota McCall Mercer Not exactly **** poor..... I'm half cut and my memory has gone - but those were off the top of my head
P4P Top 15 are up - its a bit contradicting when Khan is ahead of both Hatton and Witter in the p4p charts, but is behind both in the light-welterweight division! Anyway, I guess it is time to propose changes for it. Fire away. My pick would be Rhodes in for Jennings.
I said the same thing, Kos. Please change the order of them to Hatton, Witter, Khan if anyone else agrees. As for Rhodes, I'm not bothered.
I don't usually do p4p lists because I'm convinced they are utterly pointless and reactionary and don't tend to take into account subtleties. But since the threadstarter asks... Haye Hatton Froch Witter Woods Khan Moore McCloskey Arthur Lindsay Small Barker Rhodes Brook Burns Just missing out: Mitchell, Napa, Barnes, Jennings, Murray, Maccarinelli. I've tried to keep the first 7 or so within the bounds of sensbility including resume and recent performance, nothing ridiculous like moving Hatton off the charts. From there I find its what you like and difficult to debate either way, just a gut feeling on some of these guys. Some of its probably contraversial, but thats just how I see these guys in the ring.
KOS - Jennings is better than Rhodes TFFP - not bad but I can't see how Hatton can be that high. I have him below Haye,Froch and Khan Suppose its all based on opinions though eh ?
Exactly, thats why I am trying to get everyones rating so I can give a balanced rating. Possibly, I think I will get a few more lists and add it to my original list - then I might just keep it as it is and change it when one of the fighters in the list fights. :good
Afolabi should definately be last, though. Enzo's recent form has been terrible and he's on that list for beating Enzo, really.
1. Froch 2. Haye 3. Khan 4. Hatton 5. Witter 6. Woods 7. Moore 8. Murray 9. Mitchell 10. Cleverley 11. Arthur 12. Brook 13. Small 14. Burns 15. Barker
I forgot about Cleverly in truth. I like him as a kid, but he's in the same boat as Brook where you are putting a lot of stock into impressive wins over less than great opposition. Maybe Cleverly's is slightly better and he could deserve the nod, but in truth who gives a wank over #15 on the list? I don't really rate Munroe but I suppose he has to go in there for beating Martinez. Somewhere near the end, I don't think he's that good of a fighter.
