Tough. Maidana has literally only fought Ortiz and Kotelnik of note. 1 W 1 L, but I happen to think he was unfortunate against Kotelnik.

You can't apply the A, B, C logic that Khan beat Kotelnik better, it doesn't mean Khan beats Ortiz or Maidana himself.

So basically I have to lean to Khan because he's fought and beat Barrera dodgy as it was, and Gairy St Clair is 'okay'.

 

^^I jumped the gun. Ish. There was also some chat on the scene about Linares and Soto in a unification later in the year the other day as well.

 

These are LWW, not P4P rankings...

 

It's 4-3 in favour of Khan at the moment. TFFP has the deciding vote.

It's literally W12 Kotelnik vs. Maidana's whole body of work. In that case I might lean towards Maidana.

 

I'm siding with Maidana now just to end this debate- it's too close and I'm fed up with it. As long as Holt's above them and they are closer together in the 140 list then I'm happier.

5-3 then, Kos. Rectify it so Holt is 5th, Maidana 6th and Khan 7th.

I see a slight hole in the logic of placing Mundine above Winky. I know Winky's been inactive, but you can only rate Mundine there based on wins over Geale (complete unknown quantity) and old ass Shannan Taylor who was never good to begin with and Mundine hasn't looked all that good doing it since his eye injury. Apart from that its H2H ability, and on H2H ability you can't rate him above Winky logically. Again, he was inactive so I kinda understand it but at the same time Mundine's looked terrible doing nothing inparticular so rating him over a quality operator like Wright is tough for me.


That goes for Zbik also, hell I don't even know if he beat Spada in truth. How do you place a guy struggling with Dominco Spada over Winky. Every man and his dog knows Wright would own Zbik every day of the week and shits on his resume at 160lbs :think


That's my main gripe, Winky. I'd have Pirog at 10.
