Lads i ranked Williams at Welter but maybe he should be ranked at LMW in reality as that is hwere he intends to campaign.
good point. i was thinking of abrahams last fight atsch so what is it...are we placing fighters at the weight they intend to fight at, or at the weight they last fought at?
i know it is shite but you have to look at it like that. It would be like Hagler coming back fighting Paul Williams and then being ranked in the top 10 at MW.
Inactivity is screwing up a lot of fighter's rankings. I say for the sake of arguement, he has an interim WBO title there- let's leave him at 154 until we know what's happening in his next fight and what weight it will be at.
Nah, there is still an element of common sense. We know Winky-Wright could still perform at a reasonable level, certainly above that of Sebastian Zbik and Dan Geale. Hagler is an old man.
we do currently have him ranked at lmw (see the first page). but maybe he should be ranked at middleweight after the winky fight.
My thinking exactly But his recent form isnt that of a top ten middleweight obviously there is some common sense but he needs to atleast get a win in the next few months. anyway lads im away to watch some fights
Are you lot members of Geale's family? I didn't think losing to Mundine granted so much legitimacy. Kessler much be the GOAT according to you guys Pirog is way better and beat Jantuah, his best win isn't a loss
The reason I couldn't be arsed worrying about 8,9 and 10. Let's finish this now then please. Who's going where?
Winky and Williams should both be at Middleweight. Williams will be fighting Pavlik in september. Williams behind strum, Winky top 7. KP is lineal champ, Lorenzo and Lockett were both mandos, we said we cant punish mandos.
My top 15 pound for pound in Britain are as follows 1. David "Hayemaker" Haye 2. Junior "The Hitter" Witter 3. Carl Froch 4. Clinton Woods 5. Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton 6. Ola "Sparring partner to the stars" Aflobai 7. Amir " Sports Network Golden Goose" Khan 8. Nathan "Professor" Cleverly 9. Jamie "Overachiever" Moore 10. Anthony "Big Mouth" Small 11. Kevin Mitchell 12. Michael Jennings 13. Martin Rogan 14. Enzo Maccarenelli 15. Kell Brook *Enzo would be alot higher even after the Aflobai defeat. But his performance was so poor last time that he has dropped a long way down the rankings. However he still makes the list as for everything he has achieved he might still have something despite this latest bad loss.
