His competition since beating Vic hasn't been all that tbh. So no, he shouldn't be champ. He's moving up in his next fight anyway so it's a moot point.

 

Although he beat the number 2 (3?) guy he didn't beat the existing champion so his lineage DOES need solidifying in order to gain credibility (but not validity).

It might not be ideal but I do think in order to avoid having too many vacant titles that the winner of the top ranked fighter over either the number 2 or 3 is going to have to be enough to fill a vacant title.

 

Ring Magazine have put Jamie Moore in their LMW rankings. We beat them to it :yep.
They've dropped Daniel Santos due to inactivity. That's something we should consider, Santos hasn't fought since July last year.

What I find funny is that the WBA have no problem creating interim, regular and super champs even when the titleholder is active whereas Santos hasn't fought for a year and they haven't enforced a mando or stripped him or even made a fight for an interim title.

They've also put Winky in the MW rankings at 10.

 

:good Donaire was really poor against Mthalane but you can put that down to ring rust since he hadn't fought for ages.

 

I think it should be 1 year to the day, and then you are removed from the rankings. Thats why I think Vasquez should not be ranked in ther P4P, and if he is ranked in the P4P he needs to go back into the SBW rankings.

I think most of us would have winky as favourite over all middleweight bar Pavlik and Williams and he last fought in April, so he should be ranked. Williams should also be ranked at Middleweight. He has had more fights at that weight than light middle in recent years.

As good as Cleverly and Brook have looked, they havent beat anyone beyind domestic level.

 

I agree, Rob. At the end of the day, though, Kos has had to tally up everyone's lists and obvously more people have left out some of the more established names with a hiccup in their current form. The list isn't definate- plenty of names and placements will move around in the coming months.

If anyone has any complaints and knows they are right and everyone is wrong then I'm sure Kos will scrap the existing list that we've all contributed to and make a new one just to keep these people happy.
