will witter become esb champ if he wins on saturday?? also come on surley Amir Khan is fighter of the month, stepped up in weight less than a eyar after a 1st round KO, completly out boxed an expirienced world class fighter to win a world title????
Witter, its a possibility - depends if how impressive his performance is I guess. A vote will probably have to be done though, because I can see opinions being split. Your totally right, I forgot about Amir. :good
Step it up big time is an under-statement. Ajose is almost 30 years old and hasn't even fought beyond Comonwealth level yet. The only notable names on his CV are Bradley Pryce, Ali Nuubereme and Nigel Wright and, with all due respect, none of them suggest a World Title... If he is as good as suggested by Olu then he should fight much better opposition than that. He has only got around 12 fights left in his career and can anyone honestly see him achive anything more than he already has with his current managment set up?
No matter what performance he put in on Saturday, he either has to beat Bradley, the man who beat Bradley or have Bradley move up in weight before he can even be considered IMHO. You can't have Witter as champ in a division when the guy he lost his title to is still active and undefeated in that weight class.
I suppose it will take me a long time to live down the 'Haye at number 2 in the world rankings' for my opinions to be taken seriously again
lads, i think we should do awards with Arguello, Gatti, Forrest and Caldwells name on them instea dof having them as fighter of the month as none of them had fought. But im a stickler for rules haha Also in the rankings we should mention the Linear title holders as well as our title. also every month we should discuss the rankings and only update them at the discussions
That said, Pater, (and without being harsh) people die all of the time. We could be having this debate in a month aboput another fighter as well (although I hope not):good. I think 3 part0time pics would suffice:good. That's just my opinion, though.
Steal my ideas, Koslol:. Seriously, though, we could have real trouble keeping up with it if more legends die (soon or further down the line).
