FORUM AWARD CATEGORIES (Jan 1st - Dec 31st 2010)

- Best Poster of the Year- There are many guys here who keep me on my toes, TFFP, DFT, Ishy, Slip, Kos, Losfer, Johna (not John ), The Wee Fanny, etc etc bu for me, it has to be my main man GazOC, who is a man after my own heart with the way he goes about business.

- Funniest Poster of the Year- Paterson has me in stitches constantly, even when he doesn't want to.

- Noob of the Year- Wallet Inspector, I don't even class him as a noob, top-notch bloke and knows his stuff.

- Hugger of the Year-Hitman Hatton, sound kid though

- Hater of the Year-Kool, he hates reality.

- Thread of the Year-I thought my 'Tell me why Floyd is better than Pac' spurred on some great back-and-forth. If not, Griffs Videos is still the most useful thread here.

- British Fight of the Year -Fury-McDermott II

- International Fight of the Year-Hasegawa-Burgos

- British KO of the Year-Sexton-Ahmed

- International KO of the Year-Sergio Martinez Vs P-Dub II; even average punchers can summon a beast out of nowehere, this reminded me of Nunn Vs Kalambay in terms of shock factor.

- British Fighter of the Year-Carl Froch; close fight with a top-notch 168lber in Kessler (abroad) and soundly outpointed dangerman Arthur Abraham with a disciplined performance I didn't think he had in him.

- International Fighter of the Year-Juan Manuel Marquez. The old boy still has his legs, still hard as ****, still the best composite puncher in the game. Solid win over a refreshed Juan Diaz as a warm-up, then beat the man who should've been stylistic Hell for an ageing technician.

- Best Performance by a British Boxer Award-Carl Froch Vs Arthur Abraham

- Best Performance by a Foreign Boxer in Britain Award-Katsidis Vs Mitchell. Sure as Hell shut Upton Park up, I was the only man in the Bobby Moore stand shouting for Kats!!!:happy

- British Journeyman of the year-Matt Scriven, because he has awful white man corn rows.

- British Breakthrough of the Year Award (boxer who has made a giant leap forward in his career in the last 12 months)-Ricky Burns, and fair play to him he's worked hard.

- International Breakthrough of the Year Award (boxer who has made a giant leap forward in his career in the last 12 months)-Pirog.





BOXING DECADE AWARDS CATEGORIES (2001-2010)

- British fight of the Decade-Ryan Rhodes Vs Jamie Moore springs to mind.

- International fight of the decade-Barrera-Morales I

- British Fighter of the Decade-Joe Calzaghe I guess, as close as his win was over B-Hop, having the style to **** a master scientist like B-Hop up and force him to do hardly any good work means you're awkward and formidable. Beat Kessler 116-112 on my card too.

- International Fighter of the Decade-Who else but Pacman, he is a top 35 ATG and has consistently astounded me, unbelievable stuff, the Duran of my era.

- Best British Boxing moment of the Decade[/quote]-Seeing Michael Watson last week giving pointers to James Degale. Genuinely made me well up.

You're a bit more 'abrasive' than Gaz shall we say...when it comes to dismissing the mere mortals around here. I have seen some vicious Flea Man assaults on posters.

Why do Flea and Dan vote for me as the funniest poster of the year, I don't even try to be funny, at least Gaz puts in the effort. It's not right!

I'm not complaining though, I need some recognition.

Also Flea enjoy Thailand, you harassed any more locals asking about Khaoker Galaxy and explaining why he is better than his brother?

I concede to both yourself and Gaz old chumgoodThere are quite a few on here I can go tit-for-tat with, but not many anywhere else (the Classic is of course full of knowledgable posters as well that push me to my limits) and certainly wouldn't consider myself superior to any of the 'Elite' :yep

I actually need to brush up, haven't actually done much historical research as of late.....just winging it on pure memory alone, which, being a heavy weed smoker I'm finding it increasingly hard to delve into.

And yes, I have been a tad harsh in the past.....but what can you do when people don't listen to the truth?:smoke
