From a British POV i beleive Nicky Cook and Nathan Cleverley have no place in the top 10 fighters in the world in there respective weight divisions , Cleverley in time maybe but not now . Kevin Mitchell should be ranked top 5 @ Super Feather !!!!! Juan Diaz should be ranked @135 , and Katsidis can count himself very very lucky to be ranked 2 bearing in mind the company he's in !!!!! Caballero should be ranked above Juanma and Gamboa should be ranked 3 @ FW !!!!!!!! Maidana is too high IMO too . A win over not so vicous Victor Ortiz should not have him above Kotelnik !!!!!!
now way in heck Froch ranks above Abraham. And for goodness sakes when are we going to give Tim Bradley his props, he's the number 1 JWW in the world
Forgot about that 1 , Tim Bradley is clearly the no1 Jr WW in the world at the moment , think Hatton should sit at 2 simply because the others dont warrant being above him yet ......................
Tell me a fighter that should be ranked ahead of Cleverly and Cook at those weights?? Kevin Mitchell has beat nobody at Super Feather (and he is moving to Lightweight) Juan Diaz last fight was at Light Welterweight and his next fight is at Light Welterweight, so thats where we rank him. It would get to confusing to do it another way. Juanma is yet to fight at Featherweight,. He will go there when he fights there. Fair point.
Very good. Why is Naito above Narvaez at fly? I might argue Kaovichit over Wony, too, though that is definitely mroe arguable. Hugo Cazares, you guys see him as slipping clearly, based upon Calderon and the draw? Maybe fair enough. At super-bantam I think Caballero at #2 is fine, but Gonzalez at #10? Think? Based on the Brea win maybe? Was going to complain about the placings of Marquez and Vasquez, but i guess it's explained by guys not voting for Vasquez based upon his inactivity? The only slip up on the p4p list is including Calderon. It think he's slipped, big. Very good stab overall.
If Abraham does a job on Dirrell he will go above him. If Bradley puts on a very good performance agaisnt Peterson i imagine he will go 1st.
Cleverey - Jeff Lacy Cook - Mitchell Juan Diaz did not fight @140 he fought @137 CW and his next fight is @139 CW he has no desire to stay @140 , he's a LW . My point on Juanma is not that he should be @FW is that he should be ranked below Caballero after his last showing !!!!!! I will add that im nit picking overall its a good list .
Not bad, the only things I'd change are: Heavyweight This content is protected 1. This content is protected Klitschko 2. David Haye 3. Alexander Povetkin 4. Eddie Chambers 5. Ruslan Chagaev 6. John Ruiz 7. Nikolay Valuev 8. Denis Boytsov 9. Chris Arreola 10. Tomasz Adamek Welterweight This content is protected 1. Shane Mosley 2. Floyd Mayweather 3. Miguel Cotto 4. Joshua Clottey 5. Andre Berto 6. Luis Collazo 7. Isaac Hlatshwayo 8. Vyacheslav Senchenko 9. Selcuk Aydin 10. Saul Alvarez Light-Welterweight This content is protected 1. Timothy Bradley 2. Juan Urango 3. Devon Alexander 4. Amir Khan 5. Ricky Hatton 6. Marcos Maidana 7. Kendall Holt 8. Juan Diaz 9. Paulie Malignaggi 10. Andriy Kotelnik Otherwise I agree with the rest.
So Khan , Alexander & Urango (who Hatton shut out) Rank above Hatton why ???????????? Where the hell is Pacquiao ???????? :huh
I've gotta say, despite having a different opinion here and there, that's a damn high quality list! Very good! Personal stuff: Cotto is 1-2 in last 3 with the 1 win being against Jennings, he shouldn't be ranked over former undisputed CW and current WBA HW champ Haye (Dawson neither), or dominating BW champ Hozumi Hasegawa, the most underrated guy in current boxing. Also Chris John and even Vic Darchinyan could be there, as Vic, the reigning undisputed SFlyW champ only lost to another champ outside of his division. He did better than Dawson or Cotto recently. Ward as #1 SMW is the only big mistake on the list, but it's damn big. No way the simple win over Kessler should put him up there, Bute beat Bika-Berrio-Andrade, Froch beat Pascal-Taylor-Dirrell, Abraham, a 5-year dominating MW champ KTFO Miranda and Taylor at SMW, I don’t think Ward should be ranked above any of them. My other issue is having Dawson as "champ" at 175. First of all he only beat Hopkins victims Johnson and Tarver recently and the lineal champ is still Erdei. How is Dawson a champ but Mosley and Hasegawa not? Other than that, the rest is subjective, and it's a very very solid list.
Honestly its because lately they have gotten more accomplished then Hatton, though Hatton's loss was to a top fighter. Also Pacquiao is the ESB Champ at Light Welterweight. I never said you had to agree.
Im confused ...... Khan hasnt made a single defence of his title nore has Alexander and there more acomplished that Hatton @140 . :huh Im an argumentative ******* thats why i dis agree'd sorry !!!!
