    There's a few rugby lads on here..... me, you, HH and Mryeags, Grant - plus the lads on the Aussie forum.... could be a decent contest next year :D

    Wigan are the best side this year like you say, hopefully they do win it because I hate Adrian Morley and Lee Briers :lol:

    What's the crack with Briers?

    He looks class everytime I see him, but never anywhere the (now defenct) British side?

    Never a move to one of the bigger sides?

    Or is he just ****?

    Not **** at all, when Iestyn Harris left Leeds there were strong rumours that he was being lined up to come here.

    I don't like him, but would have been happy to have seen him here at that time, but we were in the ''lets buy old/****/unproven Aussies and we'll whip everyone'' mode, a bit like Wigan have been up until this year.

    Not sure how he'd have coped as a medium sized fish in a big pond, his personality is known to be a bit iffy.

    He could definitely have done a good job for Great Britain between 2001-6.... but there were lots of options in his positions, like Long, Harris, McGuire, Burrow etc.

    For me, nobody will ever top Long's display in the Fielden vs Mason match..... as much as I hate (and I mean hate) the little **** he's a ledge for that match alone :lol:

    We played Australia in the World Cup in 2000 and Briers was class that night.

    I think we were leading after an hour.

    Yeah I watched the game too.

    It wasn't a fluke either..... the lads just ran out of steam and in the end were well beaten, but the scoreline flattered the Aussies plenty.

    That Welsh side would have beaten the English hands down, even though many of them were only semi pro.

    Fergie complaining about refs every week like a twat, Cristiano being a twat. He's left now but still, Rooney being a spoilt brat, Rio, Gary Neville being a twat with his shitty moustache. The stupid chant which is supposed to say "united" but sounds like "yu-nay-ud, yu-nay-ud", plus "rooonehhh, roooneehhh", and a lot of other reasons.

    Oh, and although I'm not a huge footy supporter, I'm a casual fan of another team that are the enemies of manure. Not Man city.
