    No Robinson?!

Or did you mean in addition to? Nobody outboxes Tommy, especially over 12. Fine. I don't think Robinson would even waste his time milling around. He'll take one look at Hearns in the opposite corner be coming furiously, and with a lot more power than Hearns has ever dealt with. Those SRL flurries ain't **** :D

    He is.

    And so are you.

Both men belong on the list.

    Lewis higher than Tyson.

I just went through all of the lists and I gotta say good job on all of them. A lot better than a lot of expert's lists, even. Good to see my man Ike Williams getting some love at Lightweight as well :hat

He came in 11th...missed the cut by 2 points.

If I had done one today I would have found a spot for him around 9 or 10...but looking at the names ahead of him..it's no real dishonour to be ranked 11th.

True. Surprised Fitzimmons made it over Roy though, to be honest.

He'd have been on there if I was around to vote! :nono

Jones is such a ****ing enigma. Just like Tyson, but on probably an even higher level.

I do think Mike Spinks could give him a hell of a fight at 175.

Should've retired after the Tarver trilogy. There was still some sense of mystique there, now we just have noobs watching him lose at cruiserweight thinking he was never any good :-(

I do think Spinks' height and awkwardness would have caused him a lot of problems as well. Moorer would have been another good one, he is often forgotten and he had great power and boxing skills.

    Agreed. 175 is historically rich.

Here's a question, though. What if instead of going down to face Tarver at 75, Roy cashes out in a KO loss against Lewis and bows out of boxing.

How would this impact his legacy at 175? Rightly or wrongly, I think this hugely influences the perception of Roy Jones. I really do. And even though I think his victory over Tarver is arguably his most impressive performance, I think his 175 standing would be HIGHER had he retired on the aforementioned note, even though he would not have regained the 175 pound strap before losing the rematch to Tarver which started his mental down slide.
