I reviewed Walker-Hudkins II recently enough to have Mickey's performance very much on my mind. Published accounts of earlier fights of his right back to his debut against Orsini make it clear he could box like this, but it might not be believed today if Walker had never actually been filmed doing it against a challenger the caliber of Hudkins.

Benitez-Petronelli, Benitez-Shields, Benitez-Turner and Benitez Hope all showed that El Radar could be extremely dangerous when he took the initiative. Because he was such a masterful defensive counter puncher, opponents sometimes got the notion they might be able to screw him up by making him take the lead, but this never, ever worked out well. Coming forward magnified his power tremendously.

Muhammad Ali-Blue Lewis. The GOAT converts himself into a low stalking body puncher here, and scores a dominant win.
