Brooklyn first showed up on ESB as a well informed raw power, then he paid attention to my radical approach at viewing boxing and learned a little, then combined that with his former knowledge and became close to unbeatable. Then he started teaching me many things and I then provided many good lessons back to him. Huki came out of nowhere and dropped several bombs on the forum and joined the band. Not agreeing on everything, but agreeing on the important issue, rating fighters correctly as to their ability, you even agree some on this. That's the appropriate factor, with styles, to analysing fights. Thus why we rarely got anything wrong for an absurd period.:yep For example, I started the 'Hatton's going to get KTFO' train on here and provided why, you came in back in November and said no way because Joy Boy couldn't Ko this and this and I stuck with it and it happened and damn was that beautiful. 2008's been a little tougher though, less obvious' and plenty of robberies.
I've seen you proved wrong PLENTY of times. How about when you thought Cintron would KO Marg? Or how you though Quintana would Ko wiliams in the rematch? What about the time you swore black and blue that Freitas would KO Juan diaz. I disagreed solidly, and sure enough Diaz won by KO. Bringing up one fight as evidence of your boxing knowledge is a PacdaBest thing to do.... Sometimes you belive your own hyping, and that is where you come unstuck. You exaggerate far too much on your picking of fights. I have seen you do it PLENTY of times this year. I'm not saying i am flawless, far from it. That said, i don't think i am overly confident in my own abilities, which is a trait i sometimes recognise in you. Brooklyn definitely wouldn't agree with the absolue extremes that both you and Huki go to, that is for certain. I have seen you proved wrong on the forum as well plenty of times. Regardless of whether you admit that or not. It happens to everyone, it is silly to think that it never happens to you.
Nah, misunderstood again, there was a stretch of time where I got every fight under the sun correct, then derailed this year, I have been wrong a lot this year, in 2007 only a few times. I am not overly confident in my own abilities and half of these posts have been joking posts in response to Tays001's stupid thread. And for the record, Brooklyn's record for this year is almost the same as mine and Huki's, nobody's record this year is that great, he just never posted outlandish like I do. We're straight extremists and love it as a form of opposition.:good Lighten up.:yep
Who HAS been dead on this year? Aside from northend, who must know someone on the inside with his picks recently :yep . '08 has been rough so far
Northend has scored high in the points leagues, but check out Kirk's, he'd about on par with the rest. TFFP's record is fantastic in Kirk's league. Probably the best all year on this site overall.
I'm not angry at all, just pointing what appeared to be some glaring inconsistencies in your post. You guys did have a great peroid of tipping and won a heap of vcash with your aggressive betting strategies, but then again didn't we all. I had a stage where i won a tonne of avatar bets, tipping comps 20K in vcash etc etc... Absolutely crumbled this year though. If anything it proves how unpredictable boxing can be, regardless of the level of knowledge possessed.
It's a counter to the supernatural religion and the disbanded triumvirate. **** them. Supernatural's shall one day rule the sport once those communist walls are removed from Cuba. Then again, probably will hurt their boxing program.:yep
