By the way guys, to get back at Tays001, you don't need to start a new group. Just post about how amazing Mijares, Guzman and Gamboa are, that's what drives him mad. I think we all universally agree that they're all amazing anyway.

I would love nothing more than for you to share these picks with me before they occur.

I do still believe that some knowledge can definitely be used to pick upsets though, and like any sport can make you far more accurate then the casual observer.

Your pick vs Williams in the first fight was a very good one.

Northend picking Mora over Forrest though is another great example of this.

Magnum picking Campbell over Diaz another (although i am only going off your word here)...

Brooklyn and I picked Margarito, and I picked Diaz (don't remember Brooklyn's pick) so that balances things out.

And when exactly am I extreme? When I say Guzman should be favored over anybody 135 or under or when I say Margarito has a less than 5% chance of beating Cotto? Even though I'm not humble like Brooklyn is, I'm not even close to as extreme as Amsterdam. I have a lot left to learn too, I've followed boxing closely maybe 1/20th as long as Brooklyn and 1/10th as long as Amsterdam. I may act like an ******* sometimes, but I don't claim to be some unbelievable predictor, I just get the analysis correct in most fights and rate prospects and fighters in general well. Fortunately, I still have the same passion for learning about boxing as I did 2 years ago, so hopefully in another two years I will be much better at it. Apparently, Magnum is the god of all, but instead of somehow dragging his ass in here once in a while, Amsterdam chooses to tease us by mentioning his name and correct picks all the time. :|

    Whatever.....

The good posters stand out regardless of affiliation. On either side. Enough said IMO.

If people want to choose sides, cool. Not my cup of tea.

    :good

Fair enough mate. I don't mean to give you a hard time like i always seem to end up doing.

Obviously your a good analyst with the way you won comps, and the massive amount of v cash you had.

I just get frustrated with the Guzman and Gabmoa worship, i think it goes to far. I think we post at different times usually as well, so i dont see much of what you write.

I love the fact that you don't choose sides. It means you have the ability to not be persuaded or influenced by anyone else, which is what i suspect happens to others here at times.

Its a pity you don't as much anymore in the boxing section, your posts were always very accurate IMO.

Yours posts remind me a tonne of WhataRock's, who doesn't really post much anymore. Another very knowledgable yet also very modest poster.

    No hard feelings here either.

I need to start writing more analysis on these forums instead of through PM's and emails. The funny thing is, well over half of the detailed analysis I write I don't even post anywhere, I just put it in text files for myself when deciding on bets every week. The Guzman worship may go a little too far once in a while, but he's the most underrated and underappreciated fighter in the world, so if there's someone who deserves it, it's him. :D

BTW, I lost most of the vcash I had on god damn Charlie Zelenoff. :|

Guzman is rated exactly where he should be. He's very good, most would rate him an A fighter and IMO one of the top 3 from 126-135 right now. My top 3 are Pac, JMM, Guzman - In that order. Yes this 3 will come up from 130lb and rule the 135lb division, as they did from 126 to 130 or in Guzman & Pac's case, from 122-130. Guzman has some major flaws which you dont seem to acknowledge, and thus why I dont favour him over JMM or Pac. JMM via UD and Pac via TKO.

And oh, I lost 12k vcash on ODLH. I was sure he'd KO Forbes...shoulda known better than to overestimate size advantage really, I always have a go at people for doing so. Ive got 4k riding on Pac though and thats a sure thing so should be back right up there soon :)

mijaresis no supernatural. and gamboa is raw and needs some sharping. jML is a much better pick for a supernatural. and guzman is a good solid fighter that has lost his pop as he has moved up . but he is very skilled and at 130-135 should give any one trouble
