, though I am not about being a fan because they fight out of Germany but because they are good. I also enjoy watchin the likes of Cotto, Gamboa, Manny Pac, Vazquez, Kessler an so on - it's not about being Germany or fighting out of but about class, skill and entertainment...
Orisha usually takes this stance, and while I don't agree with him, I can see where he is coming from. However, I don't agree with the way he expresses his opinion and he often jumps to conclusion. All I am saying is instead of insulting others, he could have simply said who he thought was the only good poster. He didn't need to call others chumps. And I never agree with the either/or conclusion he draws which is "agree with me or you don't know boxing" or any other forms of it. The in crowd? I dunno.....I argue with nearly everyone. Depending on who the poster is though depends on how cordial the argument stays.
Eastern Euro nuthugger hmm.I wish the best for my fellow countrymen(naturally just like EVERYONE else).Only 3 fighters that i would be dissapointed if they lost(Adamek Proksa and Wolak)Where is all my "nuthugging" for the ALL these fighters you speak of.I dont mind Wlad but dont care for the Valuev's,Iggy's and Chagaev's of the World. Was a fan of this sport before there were ANY relevant Euro fighters. I didnt think that a man your age would take the 13 year old "nuthugger" route.
I always surprise myself with how vulgar I become when arguing with a unreasonable *****. Its quite gratifying :thumbsup
Let them ***** together, its providing entertainment & insight into what these egos are like. Wheres the popcorn...
Yup, i'm not posting in it, a bunch of over inflated egos who are getting upset if their name is not mentioned in the categories. **** sake, it's quite sad.:-(
I call 'em as I see 'em. Forget the term, you have just ADMITED your biases. My point is simply this - every friggin' poster on this forum, including yourself, as you acknowledge, is "biased" in one way or another. Yet you, for some unknown reason, wish to single me or Amsterdam out. He and I are no more "biased" than anyone else around here - we just don't try and hide it as much as some do, or deceive ourselves into believing that it is possible to be "objective" about these or any other issues. NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE is, or can be "objective" or "unbiased" about ANYTHING. That is a FANTASY that humans use to deceive themselves into believing the "correctness" of their OPINIONS.
This is why I think it's healthy to change your nick from time to time if you are one of these "big" posters...start afresh, with a clean slate, proving yourself anew, whilst losing all the baggage and sujective oppinion you are associated with and feel you need to defend to maintain your reputation...
Yes we all are by nature but there is such a thing as being "reasonably" biased" and "unreasonably biased".:yep
I could care less about my rep.Im an ******* and admit it. Some of us feel that there are more qualified posters and hell no i dont include myself as i dont claim "know the sport inside and out"
No one can be unbiased about EVERYTHING but many posters on this site are objective and unbiased about most topics - although i do admit there are way too many juvenile little ****ers who can see one way only.:good
You don't strike me as an ******* at all...:verysad Amsterdam started that thread about Hatton and Mayweather and put his head on the block so to speak, well, he's done it before and was right; it's true, he puts his points of view across in a direct and uncompromising fashion but his views are reasonable and based on fact. If Hatton doesn't get stopped or if, at least, he doesn't get shut out by Mayweather, Amsterdam will have to eat some crow and the whole forum will be very happy to bring him down a notch or two, don't you worry about that...
In related news...it has been alleged that running a lit candle under your ***** will result in painful sex for up to a week!
