Actually, Mandible, you are wrong. Jacare hits harder than Rockhold does. Rockhold's chin stould up against the harder shots. That didn't really matter to me. I was using the chin checker thing to get more people to bet against me.
You should try Chinchecking full-time, because you have somewhat of an aptitude for it. Both guys in this tilt were harboring some serious glass and contrary to what you state, neither of them hits hard. Jacare is a feather fisted BJJ guy, imagine what even Brian Stann would have done to that fraudulent Mandible. With all of that said, and all prejudices aside, how did you score it? I had Jacare winning the first, second, and fourth for a close decision.
I was very frustrated watching that fight. Ask sugar, he was here. Rockhold, a fighter that switches from left to right, stayed in the southpaw stance for most of the fight. This had him lined up for Jacare's right, and Rockhold chose to stay in danger. Jacare is open for the orthodox right hand, and Rockhold never tried to find that opening. I scored the fight for Rockhold, 3-2. I gave Jacare 1 and 2, with the remaining rounds going to the new champion.
Fair enough, Round 4 was a swing round if there ever was one. And excellent analysis, I was seeing the same thing but the thing is, Rockhold's ability to switch southpaw and orthodox is rudimentary, at best, and against a halfway decent opponent he can't pull it off. He's at his best standing when fighting southpaw, given that he normally switches to righty to shoot, and he doesn't have a good left hook or the power to offset the overhand right.
Rek... I was wrong, you were right :hail I'll take my punishment now... For what it's worth I scored it a draw but I can see why they gave it to Luke. Jacare didn't turn up :verysad Lynchburg
