Yes. There are plenty of heavyweights that hit harder than Dos Santos. Dos Santos has better boxing, agility, and overall speed than Mir. Dos Santos does not have amazing one punch power. That was evident in the fight with Nelson. How well did Nelson stand up to Arlovski's shots? I would thought you'd be more surprised that I think Mir hits harder than Arlovski. No one has dropped Nog or Kongo as easily as Mir. Sure Nogueira was not at his best, but Nog ate several of Velasquez's shots cleanly before getting dropped. Anyone over 200 lbs has the chance of ending a fight with a single blow, but that doesn't mean that all heavyweights are on a level playing field in this regard. Can Dos Santos end the fight with one punch? Yes. Is Dos Santos' punch as devastating as someone like Carwin's? No.
Yeah it's not the greatest match... Nelson looks semi-slim and has no mullet :| I'd give Nelson the power and Mir the skill TBH. Either way i can see the fight ending by Kayo :deal Lynchburg
I think Roy is the only person ever to change from a mullet to a worse hair cut This content is protected
no one has cleanly KOed Roy nelson and that must mean he got a good chin. now if you say that arlovski did it well he wasnt out when he went down, he didnt have the gas tank that he has now. JDS finished werdum with 1 punch. broke CC orbital bone or whatever bone that is under his eye. he KOed Gonzaga. stefan and yvel went to sleep like small children. how can you say that jds dosnt have power in his hands?
he was tired as hell and that was in the late 2nd round if my memory serves me right and if you watched the 2nd round you could see how ****ing gassed he was, it took his strength just to stand up. yes he got rocked and dropped but was he out?
Well, he didn't say that JDS doesn't have power in his hands, he didn't say anything like that, but I still agree with the rest of your post. I think rekcutnevets (unsure of spelling) is underrating JDS and overrating Mir in this regard.
Yup. Well, he may still have been conscious, but he was flat on the ground in no position to continue, so to me that is a KO.
