ESB OFFICIAL POLL: Jean Pascal vs Lucian Bute!

Have you ever seen Pascal fight? Have you seen the Froch fight? Pascal had to respect Froch's power and yet... did you see him be "less offensive"?

The guy is all about offense.

 

Well he lost didn't he ?...against Froch.If he will be that offensive against Bute who is more faster/acurate/powerful than Froch he might not lose by decision but by KO.

 

Hearth breaking choice! If this fight is made i don't think i could watch it live!

 

I am not discrediting Pascal's win. It was a very good win. I think it was his best performance so far, a B to B+ level performance. Pascal is a fighter who has been putting in a couple of B to B+ level performances in a row now...and there aren't many of those around... Froch, for example, is not one of them.

I think you are underrating Bute. Not sure why.

 

Not to mention that Bute delivers punches you don't see it coming(Andrade-left hook,Miranda-uppercut and that right hand that led at the standing TKO against Berrio). Dawson had 1 punch close to that( the one who froze Pascal's legs) and he didn't had Bute's power behind it. Froch and Diaconu don't posses such a punch

 

Pascal is not beating Bute 8-4, mate.

For crying out loud, there's only a vague rumour of a fight and Interbox is already trying to do some damage control in the media, saying that Bute can't come up to 175.

 

I think Pascal beats Bute by decision. People are forgetting that Pascal just came back from an injury, he should look more sharper in his next fight (whether the opponent be Dawson or someone else). I do think that Dawson beats Pascal in a rematch.

 

Where I said Dawson was crap? and if you know how to read I said many, many fighters on ESB are hyped, Lucian included. Pascal is surely your new number 3 P4P, but in reality its more like the flavor of the week.

If you think beating Andrade or Miranda = being the ****, so be it.

I don't see why you rate Bute so highly when he has not even faced a guy as good as Froch.

 

I'm not even saying that Pascal would beat everyone at 175, I would give Dawson great chances in a rematch. But this thread is full of huggers who are claiming Bute would ko Pascal easy when the best guy Bute has faced is not even on Froch's level. That hype is ****ing disgusting.

Scorpy, they've been saying that for many months now. It's nothing new. When the time is right, within 18-24 months tops, Pascal and Bute will face each other. It was meant to be from the time they started boxing here anyways.
