Anyway, it was kinda fun catching the last half of the card by chance flipping channels. Like old times.

My boy Pat Curran's on in a few weeks? Karo Parisyan too? :think I might check that out.

 

I would certainly do that if I were you. He's fighting Shahbulat Shamhalaev who is an absolute beast. Late replacement, though, and a very quick turnaround. He just fought last week.

Edit: Wait, the fight is in April, not next week. That's much better.

Ahhhh, I probably should have figured that out on my own, considering he was the original opponent.

I prefer the Shamhalaev fight just because he is about 10X more exciting more Straus.

I think Curran would nullify Straus' wrestling and outwork him on the feet, perhaps finishing him again in the later rounds. Both guys are pretty conservative until they smell blood, so there is the potential for an uneventful fight.

I'm probably going to tune in for XCV. First time in a long time I've been excited about anything MMA.
