Davis is a newly graded purple belt under Lloyd Irvin, pretty solid credentials that, coupled with his top game / wrestling = a pretty solid / world class all round grappler. Vinny is highly talented in this area which makes it interesting, but he has next to no stand up, if Davis wants to he can run and throw for 3 rounds without even thinking of shooting in, and we will probably see Vinny do his Werdum impression and try and pull guard once or twice.

Davis holds a lovely arm triangle win over Boetsch or was it an anaconda? I cant remember but it was a sweat sub if memory serves.

 

The Wonderbar. Or the Mr. Wonderful. It was like a one-arm Kimura.

 

That submission Davis caught Boetsch in was one of those lucky once in a lifetime type of submissions. He just caught Boestch with his arm out in an awkward position and was able to turn a one on one wrist grab into a one arm kimura/shoulder lock. Joe Rogan christened it the "Wonderbar" at the time but I call bull**** because it's not a real submission that could be setup with any type of consistency. That's just my take on it as a person who studied submissions in jiujitsu and aikido for several years.

 

Head/Catone has been cancelled. Catone was hospitalized for dehydration.

 

I like Head (pun intended), he can be a Mike Pyle of sorts of down the road.
