lbarrow and Amsterdam: How about you two decide to run just one prediction league, together, next year. You could both agree on all the details and get back to us (number of fights, scoring, counting of points, how many people you need to help you run it on a weekly basis, etc... So how about it, lads? The ESB Prediction League? We could all chip in and help with suggesting how we would think the ESB Prediction League should look like, in this thread... The advantages of having just one prediction league is that we get more people competing, there is no duplication for those who want to take part in both, more people can be asked to help run it, it's easier to compare who the best predictors are... What do you think?
Yes, there is even a third one now. We should all figure something out this week after new years. Hopefully Amsterdam and lbarrow will both be onine too.
well i have just done my one. i have been doing it for over two years with amsterdam in it and he decided to do another on if we all stick to mine i am sure we will have loads of people predicting
Ah, I didn't know. Maybe he thought 10 fights were a bit much to analyse properly...it takes at least 3 minutes to do a boxrec look-up. If you analyse video even barely, it takes at least 15 minutes.... Still hope you two can sort it out.:good
Amsterdam will be setting up the new league next week and I think lbarrow is continuing his league without changing anything. Kirk's league is up too, but it looks like a mess.
It's good the way it is. It's just like real boxing, where you have multiple sanctioning bodies and multiple champions.
haha yea...then we will need to have unification fights and everyhting...plus with more people starting them up well have regional champs and so on and so on
