If it goes the distance, Werdum may very well pull it off. I believe Fedor has to find a way to land his right hand to win, and I think he will. Werdum should have learned how important the jab is years ago against Nogueira. It was apparent that he hadn't as recently as his last fight. He and Silva were often in jabbing range in that fight, and it was so frustrating watching them not let it go. Werdum doesn't need to worry about Fedor's jab, but he needs to use his own in this fight. It is just stupid to completely right Werdum off. He has great submission skills on the ground, but he may want to keep those for plan B. Werdum has the height and reach advantage. He could make things difficult if he keeps the fight boring, scores with leg kicks and jabs, and avoids Fedor's booming right hand. I picked Fedor by tko, and that is what I'm calling. I'm just not going to get into the I can suck Fedor's dick better than you contest that so many sign up for. Werdum has a chance if he follows the right game plan.
